I'm not done translating yet, but I looked at the entries in common.properties and has a small comment.

The correct way to write the prefix "kilo" is with a small k, not a capital K. The correct form is kB not KB.

Not claiming they are always right, but according to Wikipedia they can both be used: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kilobyte.

However, the confusion starts here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kilo-. *Sigh* I think I must stop now, before I start feeling like this guy.

Thanks for the diff, it really makes our job easier!
el-GR released again.
I just want to point out that the xpi in babelzilla still has the filters encoding issue (Changeset 586),
Due to that reason the testing was performed with the nightly version from your site so i hope it wont
be an issue with the official release as well.

The localized strings for the AMO page are in the attached file. Please keep in mind that AMO uses the
simplified form of the county's code (simply "el" instead of "el-GR"

Then I'll add to the confusion with this article from Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SI_prefix

The chart is the most complete overview of the SI prefixes I have ever come across, often the ends has been dropped as their use is not that common.

We don't use the official SI units but the "what average user knows and is used to" units ;)
And by this are following the lead of Mozilla, Windows and even popular *nix apps. ;)

You are right. It appears that some files originate from beta2 and were not properly updated.
The l10n is, according to a diff I performed, current, so no problem here...

In the meantime I put the most current version at:
http://code.downthemall.net/releases/downthemall-1.0b3.xpi
This was automatically generated by our release script and therefore shouldn't contain any packaging bugs.
(For those interested in subversion: branches/1.0.x)

Unfortunately I'm currently not listed as a developer with Babelzilla and can hence not resubmit the corrected XPI myself.

An updated version is available on WTS. Sorry for troubles that the previous one may have caused.

Please, don't consider extension id 3162, it will be deleted ASAP.
Stay on this one.

Thanks,
Federico

Hi there, two notices:
1) sometimes babelzilla marks 100% even if some string wasn't translated, so please check every file of yours;
2) in addurl.properties there's a missing "n" in "tasks" string: the correct english version is
QUOTE
It seems that you are using some batch descriptors.\nDo you really want to start %S tasks?\n\nRecognized batch descriptors in order of appearance:\n%S\n\nwhich generated URLs from:\n%S\nto:\n%S

The correct string will be available with the next update.

Thanks,
Federico

You can upload addurl.properties separately without having to update the entire extension; the string will show correctly in all other locales immediately.

Deleted. unsure.gif

Somebody had released a bugfix to my main theme which fixed other themes as well, without it showing up when you check for updates so I had to check manually on addons.mozilla.org. ranting2.gif

QUOTE(zagadka @ Jan 10 2008, 19:48) *
What is the point of the winstyle variable in prefpanes.dtd, it doesn't appear to have any effect?

I could use a little more room in the settings dialog due to some slightly longer strings, but I can't change the size of the dialog with the winstyle variable which I suspect is the reason for its existence.

For some reason a restart of Firefox using the default theme both before and after the restart solved part of the issue. It still appears to have no effect when I'm using a non default theme.

Please make sure you don't have the corrupt version we unfortunately first submitted.
Other than this the winstyle is directly "included" in prefs.xul like this:
CODE
<prefwindow
    id="DownThemAll"
    xmlns="http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"
...
    style="&winstyle;"
    >

So it can be used to define CSS styles, like width: and height: (which should be specified in em or ex to cope with different screen resolutions/DPI settings).

I do suspect corrupt code, but not from you. I have deleted the post as it appears to have been caused by a bug in the theme. Why all themes except the default was affected is still a mystery.

I added all locales which were "Released" to our version control (branches/1.0.x)
And put up a release that contains them:
http://code.downthemall.net/releases/downthemall-1.0b3.xpi
Please test and see if there are any issues.

We'd appreciate it if all other translaters would finish/test/release their locales within the next few days. If this is not possible please drop us a note ;)
And please keep in mind: sometimes babelzilla marks 100% even if some string wasn't translated, so please check every file of yours.

Cheers
Nils
