@Joergen : you need to have an email with a PDF attachment. Happy to see you join btw smile.gif
@Goofy : correct, but I don't want to change the strings once more (don't want to bother the good translators smile.gif) so that'll be for the next version
@Sonickydon, @ranvis: it's an experimental feature, and as such, I didn't put any effort into translating it. I'm somehow hoping for people to come and improve the thing smile.gif

I see. But I am not able to see any preview. File not found. I looks like the path is wrong.
Path according to Thunderbird: AppData/Roaming/Thunderbird/Profiles/hjn2zihe.default/extensions/gconversation@xulforum.org.xpi!/content/pdfviewer/viewer.html
Actual path to file 'viewer.html' is: AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\hjn2zihe.default\extensions\gconversation@xulforum.org.xpi\chrome\content\pdfviewer\

Jonathan,

I guess the swap file (.swp) shouldn't be translated?

I can't find the Thunderbird option mentioned in the end of the string desc.extra_attachments in options.dtd:

QUOTE
Use in combination with View > Message Body As > All Body Parts.

I can't find All Body Parts, because Message Body As contains just Original HTML, Simple HTML and Plain Text.

Never mind. I've found out that All Body Parts option appears when you install this extension: Show All Body Parts.

Maybe this information should be displayed to the user somewhere.

The .swp file is a mistake, of course. And yes, I should probably mention the addon instead of the option... I'll probably submit one last string chance as soon as I get a chance. Thanks for pointing this out.

Hi,

I've uploaded version 2.3 over to AMO. Please give it a try and let me know if any error should occur. Thanks!

rolleyes.gif at first look everything seems as expected. Minor annoyance for me, I do prefer having a left-hand colum view by account and as soon as installed conversations set the "unified view" by default.
my wish is : user's view preferences are not modified by default (I mean for the account/folders treeview on the left)

file options.dtd, line:
"In some corner cases, Thunderbird will fail to recognize some attachments. This options allows you to workaround the Thunderbird bug, and makes sure we try to display as many attachments as we can. Use in combination with View > Message Body As > All Body Parts."
in thunderbird 11 there is no such option, there is only:
 • Original HTML
 • Simple HTML
 • Plain text

which i should use?

Open advanced settings in Thunderbird. Search for mailnews.display.show_all_body_parts_menu and set the value to true. Thunderbird will show the localized menu item.

When I tested my latest work I had to change the string sendArchive=send & archive in template.properties. WTS removes the amp;.

I thought that bug had been fixed long ago in the WTS... That means I'm going to have to check every single locale by hand. Yay! <3 Babelzilla.

Not all locales use & smile.gif
I downloaded the Danish template.properties file, changed the string in a text editor, and uploaded it. Now the & is there - but for how long?

Good morning everyone,

I've released 2.4 which is still in AMO limbo waiting to be reviewed; the xpi is available from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbir...-view/versions/ so you should be able to download it and give it a try. Thanks to everyone for their work and translations! I've updated all corrupted files on Babelzilla to make sure none of them have a bad & in the sendArchive strings.

If there is any showstopper, please send me an email, as I don't check Babelzilla all the time.

Cheers,

jonathan

PS : the nl, nl-NL, and da locales each had one file encoded as latin1 instead of utf8 -- happily enough, the AMO validator flagged this, and I was able to fix it on my local copy of the translations. If anyone has any idea as to why this happened, I'd be happy to hear it smile.gif.

You may as well ditch the nl-NL locale if you also have an nl locale; it’s useless to have both and nl will be automatically selected as Thunderbird will have that locale as well. I have removed it from the db, since no translator was assigned to it anyway wink.gif
While the bankers all get their bonuses I’ll just get along with what I’ve got

Babelzilla decided that when I hit "Download" in order to download all of my locales, only a subset of them should be included. Unfortunately, the Lithuanian translation was not included by default, so I missed it. Thanks for notifying me, I've submitted 2.4.1 in the review queue which includes two missing locales and removes the nl-NL locale.

Thanks,

jonathan
