I link also here for you a list of the available translators, thus if you need a particular localization you may directly ask for this to the particular translator biggrin.gif

I may provide the Italian localization, but if you agree I'd wish to wait for the proposals of some other Italian translators

Thanks smile.gif

I may provide the Italian localization

And I will do it biggrin.gif
But before I have two questions for you:
May I replace the Error Console title with the Italian Console Javascript² title?
May I change a little the description?
(Eg: If I could, I'd like "Permette di sostituire la console JavaScript con una di nuova generazione" as description!
Ooops, the English meaning is "You may replace the Javascripts Console with a new one of next generation"!)

Please, let me know

Thanks in advance

@goofy, chuzo: I haven't yet got to look at the translations, sorry (it's planned for v0.1.8).

@MatrixIsAllOver: For the title, I'd prefer it to be called "Console of Errors" since it explicitly doesn't deal with JavaScript only. And if you want to change the description, it should rather read "Replaces the JavaScript Console with ..." (without the "Permette di", since it simply does it, no questions asked).

Anyway: thanks to y'all for your efforts!

Ok, thanks for the last reply and for the explanation! biggrin.gif
I followed your indications, so I translated "Console degli errori" and I 'adopted' your description: Sostituisce la console JavaScript con una di nuova generazione
I attached the Italian localization here-> (I removed my previous attachement wink.gif )

Thanks for your translations! It seems though that this one isn't that simple to localize. I admit that I've by far not given you enough information about the different interdependences:

* One problem are the accesskeys:
- If possible don't use the accesskeys for All/Errors/Warnings/Messages/Clear for buttons, since these four will be back v0.1.8 (you'll get the chance of giving them other accesskeys, but people might be used to them).
- type.accesskey and lang.accesskey must obviously match the corresponding label, whereas ctx.accesskey must match all three ctx.* labels.
- focus1.commandkey is the shortcut for the location bar (Ctrl+L in English).
- focus2.commandkey is the accesskey of the location bar (Alt+d for A&ddress, as for Internet Explorer - at least that one might be different for your language - and make sure not to use it for anything else).
- search.commandkey is the shortcut for Web Search (Ctrl+K in English)
- console.accesskey is the accesskey for View -> Sidebar (the accesskey for the Tools menu entry is the same as for the JavaScript Console).
- Nice to have, if your head isn't exploded yet: the accesskey for all.label, lang.all.label and ctx.all.label should be the same (easier to remember). rolleyes.gif

* Another problem are the mode menus:
- Try to keep the constant labels as short as possible (type.label and lang.label); you might want to shorten especially Language to Lang (Linguaggio to Ling, Langage to Lang, etc.).
- Massively overlong mode entries should be shortened as well (Avertissements is almost the double length of all other entries; I like Avisos instead of Avertencias).
- Especially for French: after type.label and lang.label follows a colon, you'll have to include a space in the label.

* One final detail: If you you have to revert "Error Console", it becomes "Console of Errors" (note the plural).

Now let's hope that this all hasn't demotivated you (consider it a puzzle or a challenge wink.gif). Should any of the above be too illusory for me to expect, please tell me - I'll include your translations anyway. I know it's difficult and you might not get all of it together, so don't despair and thanks a lot for your efforts! biggrin.gif

Thanks! I forgot to add that there are four more entities (for the four new buttons):
CODE
<!ENTITY all2.accesskey      "A">
<!ENTITY errors2.accesskey   "r">
<!ENTITY warnings2.accesskey "W">
<!ENTITY messages2.accesskey "M">

They'll be probably similar to the versions without 2, except in case of a clash with another top-level accesskey.

As for your Spanish translation, you have to change lang.accesskey to L (should be from lang.label). I'd further translate ctx.content.label to Contenido, change strict.accesskey to I or a (it's better memorable if it's the first letter of a word). The new entities will probably be T, E, A and M (or d instead of T if you don't want to change type.accesskey to p). Finally Personalizar might have P as accesskey (unless that's different for Firefox) and Barra de evaluación B or v (having the accesskey at de seems a little strange).

Sorry for the nit-picking and thanks again!

If I remove All (all.label)/Errors/Warnings/Messages/Clear accesskeys, then (if they should be the same) have I to remove also (all.label,) lang.all.label and ctx.all.label accesskeys? rolleyes.gif

Thanks a lot, guys! We're almost there... wink.gif

@MatrixIsAllOver:
I'd make the following changes (you don't have to upload again, just tell me what you want me to do about them):
* lang.css.accesskey -> C (any reason you want an S here?)
* ctx.accesskey -> O (this leaves the E for the Errori button - errors2.accesskey)
* ctx.cnt.label -> ? (is there a neat translation for this?)
* sortFirst.accesskey and sortLast.accesskey -> p and u (for Primo -> ultimo and Ultimo -> primo)
And do you want to be credited as "MatrixIsAllOver"?

@chuzo:
I'd make the following changes (you also don't have to upload again, but just tell me what you want me to do about them):
* console.accesskey -> C (otherwise the accesskey is under d_e_ - unless there's already the translation for History/Bookmarks which uses e as accesskey)
* ctx.accesskey -> o (otherwise if you select Chrome it'll show as "Chrome (I)")
* tools.accesskey -> p (since we've given O away above)
* all2.accesskey -> d (since T is already used for type.accesskey)
I suppose you want to be credited as "Proyecto Nave". And if you tell me, what theme you're using, I might even have a look at how to get the icons back for you...

You can both test the extension with the above changes temporarily made in today's nightly: Console² v0.1.7.2+.

Yes, Proyecto Nave is perfect for credits info.

Theme in screenshot is Noia 2.0 (eXtreme), but it's not yet oficially compatible with FF 1.5 rolleyes.gif so don't worry about it wink.gif

No, any reason! "C" and "O" are OK, and Content may be both "Content" if it's the Folder, like Chrome Folder (in this case, the name "Content" *like Chrome* remains so!) and "contenuto" (in case it isn't the Folder)
Maybe you dind't intend the Folder? unsure.gif
Please, let me know

Thanks, for the credit MatrixisAllOver it's perfect

I hope I haven't discouraged you with my list of requirements above! As with the other translations, yours was quite close and it's just some minor details which needed modification. Anyway, I've allowed myself to make the modifications I deemed necessary and included your translation in today's nightly as well (updated download). If you want, you can test it out and tell me if you agree with everything. I can also wait with the inclusion until you're ready. Should you agree with the inclusion, how would you like to be credited (nick or your real name)?
