Is there a way to download all 100% locales in one package?

When you click on the "Download all locales in tar-gz file" link (at the top of the page), you get :
all locales 100% done PLUS all locales r under test-QA or in progress status (in this case the missing strings are automatically set in english, so it causes no break in the use of the extension, just a minor annoyance to have some strings of the interface in your language and some in English).

If you mean (probably) having ONLY the 100% done and on "release" status, this is a request we can send to our Tech Admin. We'll let you know the answer smile.gif

Yeah, I saw the "all locales", but a "all 100% locales" would make the process easier for me. I don't really want to build a half done locale into the extension and then have people email questions about why it's half done. If it's not too much trouble, that would be nice, thanks.

ps. I'll see about download sort one of these days, I still have that localized version, cheers

Please be aware that in case you do not include any "work-in-progress" locales into an updated version you upload to BZ, these locales will be lost after the upload. Also, chrome.manifest needs to mention the included locales, otherwise the translator(s) will be unregistered.

But I'm assuming you only asked this question for the purpose of issuing the extension to AMO wink.gif

Glad to see you here. Slovak locale updated, tested and ready to use smile.gif

I've got one question: what about possibility to localize string in popup download window: "220 KB of 3.83 MB (at 6.4 KB/sec)".

The locale folder structure in this extension is a little different as usual. There is the 'normal' \chrome\locale folder with only an en-US folder and there is a \translations folder with the locale folders.
In the chrome.manifest there are links to both the folder structures.
I assume that the 'normal' folder structure \chrome\locale is used in the future, so maybe it is wise to remove the other structure to avoid misunderstanding.

I'll see about that for the next major relase

For the time being, I intend to keep it as is (non en-US locales in the translations\ folder). I have scripts which automatically build a non-translated version of the extension (for use in development) or a translated version (to release)

Does this affect the the work here in a way that I'm unaware?

Spanish (es-AR) updated, some typos fixed...

Released and available in WTS now.

However, i have some problems displaying the About dialog, Help about Options tab:

Only happens to me, or some other locales too?

It's OK in slovak locale (see screenshot). I think too long strings in tabs causes this. Try to shorten them.

Same problem in Dutch (nl-NL). The text is not completely translated yet, but the tabs are. They seems not to long to me; there is enough space at the end.
Also there is not enough vertical space to show the buttons at the bottom of the window completely.

That's true Alf, if the length of tab names together are more long as width limit, the name of the Options Help tab is cluttered.

The vertical space appear to be an "theme" issue (problem), because the content area will be reduced to show the buttons correctly.

Spanish locale (es-AR) is released again, all is OK now as you can see here:
IPB Image

Horizontal Scrollbar fixed (because i can not write in english languaje, see the followin screenshots):

Width limit in aboutdownbar.xul file:

Auto-Overflow in aboutdownbar.xul file (to adjust the content text):
IPB Image

If the length of tab names are more long than Width limit, the Options Help tab name is cluttered:
IPB Image

The guilty of the horizontal scrollbar:
IPB Image

Why that text was not overflowed?, because this code tag in aboutdownbar.xul file:
IPB Image

OK, all is fine now...

Best regards.

Sorry again for my very bad english wink.gif
