This upload is a work-around because repeated attempts to get the original version of Greasemonkey transferred to the account of an active maintainer have never gone through, and it is causing problems for users.

I wasn’t aware that there was a request pending for the transfer of ownership, but that is usually not a problem. Best would be if we have some sort of confirmation that it is OK with the original owner to transfer the maintenance of GreaseMonkey to you, then we can set you as maintainer without any problem.

You changed extension UUID to greasemonkey@greasespot.net, so you must change this UUID in the files:
greasemonkey.properties
greasemonkey.js
because extension description not working now.

teo, there is a good chance that Anthony will continue with the original version, so hold off any work for now on this one until it is sorted.

What's going on? As soon as I receive the Greasemonkey update, it says "144 days past due"

@arantius: is there anything new in this latest update or is it merely an xpi update with minor changes? I don’t see any strings flagged as new in the nl locale

You need to be registered as translator to be able to save changes. None of the Spanish locales has a translator registered (they all say ‘Unknown translator’), so feel free to register and amend. I have opened the es locale for everyone to join

@arantius: also, please try not to include English strings in locale files. There were a couple there, and translators might see a 100% counter and assume nothing has changed really.

I understand completely your irritation on this issue. Please consider having a local backup of your translations and use the Upload tab in case such annoyance happens again.

I do. For every translation. But it is still work that I don't want to do more than once (or at maximum twice).

"Fetching user script..." text isn't localizable. I guess it should be in gm-browser.properties.

I suppose I never really learned how to use babelzilla properly, but:

I upload our XPIs, which contain the translations. In order for things not to break because XML entities are not defined, I include english strings in the XPI where they're not provided. What am I supposed to do different?
