 Deleted translations keep coming back |

I had the admins convert my translations from the old names (ex: it-IT) to the new names (ex: it). Now every time I upload a new version, in addition to the the new names, all the old names come back. This results in the translation list getting very cluttered and confusing. Also when downloading the old locales show up in the tar files.
Today, the old ones' statuses all got changed from "unknown translator" to "abandoned today, but they are still there. Is there some way to permanently get rid of the old locales? We’re very sorry for this annoyance. The deletion function available to us admins has been a bit buggy in the past but should have improved by now, so I will delete the mentioned locales. Let’s hope they will keep that status permanently

Having alerted Fenian about that, it seems the "delete" function we have on the background is efficient to remove permanently unwanted locales but it is not the case when conversion feature is used, that may explain the zombie locales Morac stumbled upon. Fenian will work on that asap.

I've already reported both these problems to the admins today, but I figured I'd post here indicating that there's still some problems.
1. this problem is still occurring for some locales. 2. Now, the old locales (eg: uk-UA) are actually replacing the new one (eg: uk) in the "download all locales" link such there's no way to download the new updated locales. They can still be download individually, but only the "skipped" versions. There's no way to download the "blank" or "replaced" versions. |

Same issue at http://www.babelzilla.org/index.php?option...2&type=show Some of the locale names seem to have been shortened without any issue, but cs-CZ still needs deleting. Thanks, Pete |
