I want to say hello to all of you and I am happy having found this great service here. If you want to try this extension be aware that it is "only" an extension for Windows and needs a tool called "Snarl" to be installed (can be found at http://www.fullphat.net). More info to this extension is available on http://tlhan-ghun.de smile.gif

Looking forward for nice translations and working on my corresponding Thunderbird and Sunbird-extension to become also localizable smile.gif

Just a short note: It turned out that the interface I am using until now has some difficulties with special characters. I am just working on a new way to interface Snarl with Firefox but it'll take some more time for the final 0.7 :(

Thanks to all who have already submitted translations smile.gif

Seems like the "Test" feature is not working, it's (the extension is) neither displaying any notifications, does the same happen to you?

:( Just the same for me.

Also

1. In the chrome.manifest, please change
locale firesnarl fr-Fr jar:chrome/firesnarl.jar!/locale/ja-JP/

for
locale firesnarl fr-FR jar:chrome/firesnarl.jar!/locale/fr-FR/

2. Would you please consider localizing the description? Simple howto

Hm, it's working fine on my machine. Added some more possibilities to the testing-section - could you tell if both are not working or only one of them?

Ahhh - Copy&Paste is dangerous. Changed it but now French doesn't show up on my translations-overview in WTS!?

[French locale is now re-uploaded smile.gif ]

I am sorry but I cannot see any notification coming when I click on the two "test" buttons (either "general" or "direct"). I have tried several times with variations without success.

OK - found the reason why it is working on my machine but not on yours - now I'm searching for a convenient solution...

The solution will be a new approach and it looks like it'll take some more time - sorry for the delay...

Short update: the new interface is working now (since 10 minutes) and now I have to find out which codepages have to be converted to which other codepages for proper display (but with this new interface it's 100% in my hands...)

Small update: made huge progress with my new interface (thanks to reonekot from k23-forum) and I now have a working version which also displays special characters like the Polish ones. I have one last (but hopefully not to big) problem before you can see a release which displays all of of your languages correct (not Japanes I have to say - it looks like Snarl can't display them out-of-the-box right now).

Finally I have finished a version which displays special characters just fine and works without a seperate installation of libraries. If no problems occure (tested it on three different Firefox-installations on two different Windows-installations) this version will become the final 0.7.1 release which will be the first official release with included translations smile.gif

Hi!

I made the Hungarian translation for FireSnarl, and I suggest some text of the Credits part should be translated.

Hi Sven Walther

I have just started localizing this add-on. It seems several strings are missing. The Ver. 0.7.1RC1 contains strings that I can't find here at BabelZilla.
Are you going to update the add-on here?

Jørgen Rasmussen.

Hi Jørgen,

thx for translating FireSnarl. Can you tell me which strings you are missing - I didn't change strings since 0.7 (just uploaded 1.0.2 to be sure).
