Dear CPU,
Today Firefox offered me an automatic update for TMP. It updated to version 0.3.8.4pre.100526a.
Sadly, in that version the Catalan (CA-AD) locale is still missing.
In fact, it has been missing in every build so far.
As you can see from my past messages in this topic, I've been translating, testing and releasing TMP into CA-AD since 0.3.7, including several updates for 0.8.3pre's, but for an unknown reason, my translations have not been included in TMP yet. I was already reporting this issue posts ago (since October 2009), but again, the CA-AD locale is yet to be included.
Is there a reason for that?
I checked the version in official FF add-ons page, which is 3.8.3 and the Catalan is not included either.
My name appears in the "About" as the CA-AD translator but, alas!, there's no Catalan translation included.

I'm kindly requesting to know whether there is a reason for that.
I'm really wondering if its worth translating any more upcoming TMP updates if there are not included in the released builds...

I'm frustrated just like you: Romanian translation still remains outside of TMP in 3.8.4.

I decided to build a parallel version with all legal notices included, but only with locales that are not included in main version. This version could be named TMP Other Languages.

What do you say?

I don't think this should be the way to go.
Actually, the current TMP release includes already 40 locales, so I don't see the point in not including Catalan and Romanian as well.
Creating a separate TMP release for these two locales is unjustified in my opinion.
The missing locales should be integrated in the official build. I've been translating every release since January 2009 (see my posts in this thread), so I would say it's about time they get into the build.

The new 3.8.4 release and 3.8.5 pre-release include only the 17 old langages: cs-CZ, de, el-GR, en-US, es-ES, fr, hu-HU, it-IT, ja-JP, ko-KR, nl, pl-PL, pt-BR, ru-RU, sk-SK, zh-CN, zh-TW.

Note for Babelzilla administrators: I seem to remember that some time ago there was a change of policy on locale conventions. That is, the general rule was releasing the locales in a "broader extent", which would imply that the "ca-AD" locale used in this add-on would become "ca".
I'm not sure whether this change should be performed by Babelzilla admins, by me or somebody else. Could you clarify?

I retested TMP with the ca-AD -> ca change (in manifest and in /locales dir) and it works perfectly.
@CPU Will you be able to make the change?

Indeed, the current translators haven’t shown up for at least a year. I have opened the locale, feel free to join!
