Never done this before. And, I'm a native English speaker on an en-US machine with a en-US locale. And, I'm trying to do the Hebrew translation. So, I have right-to-left order, technical subject matter to translate, and it's all new to me. Some help?

The step by step seems to me, to be:
  • I translate everything online that's available to edit, until it says 100% when I save it.
I can paste unicode glyphs - will this be enough? do I need to put the characters in reverse? I've already started under some assumption, if it is possible for you to take a look.
  • Then, I download the file. It will be in tar.gz format. I can open this in WinRAR, so I can just update the file without any fuss.
  • Then, I think I either upload as is, or change the extension name to .xpi and upload
  • Then, everything's ok?
Thanks for the assistance.

smile.gif Hello, you are very welcomeani.gif here.
It seems your mainline is correct, except :

or change the extension name to .xpi and upload

You have NOT to re-upload the extension in a full package once your locale is translated. It is developer's privilege to submit again when updates are necesssary. You can upload your locale files one by one if necessary.

Here I am afraid I have no idea of the best way to translate in reverse with the "special" characters. But I know some Hebrew translators are registered here, it seems they can translate without too many problmes, they should be asked for more precise help.

Just send a friendly PM to them (maybe to asfaltboy, who came first here I think) and if possible work together as a team.
