I plan to release the next version of Autofill Forms tomorrow.
Some localizations have not been released yet - I will use the english version as replacements for missing strings.

As soon as the unfinished localizations have been finished I will include them and release updated versions.

Hints to translating the new string "extensions.autofillForms@blueimp.net.regExpPasswordLabel" in autofillForms.properties:

The string is a regular expression used to identify fields which are used as passwords.
The regular expression is tested on the labels (names) of all form field rules when displayed on the settings page.
If the regular expression matches, the values of the form field names are hidden behind asterisks (*) on the simple interface pane and in the rules list.
For the english locale, I used the regular expression (?:pass), which matches agains "pass", "passw", "Password" and so on.
e.g. if in your language "password" is said as EXAMPLE, a good regular expression string would be (?:pass)|(?:EXAMPLE)

Yes - that's true. If you don't want the new profile you'll have to remove it again.

@madblueimp: There is a problem with version 0.9.2 on AMO site.

In Italian translation, the extensions.autofillForms@blueimp.net.fieldRules string is not shown.
If I download it locale from here the string is correctly shown.

If I check the AMO version the strings contains some "%" char, that are not in BZ string.
Could you check this?

Sorry, I forgot to tell you:
I adjusted the italian locale to make it show no predefined values and to make use of the new improved rules for the form fields.
I made this with all localized rulesets for version 0.9 of Autofill Forms.
So with version 0.9 and later you had to retranslate this string based on the new and slightly improved rules.

The italian locale string for the fieldRules contained the old version (with predefined example values) which I couldn't use for the new release.
I should have asked you first but I had to release a bugfix version to address a non-working help button on the latest Beta 5 of Firefox 3.
I tested the italian (and all other) versions and it showed no problems.
As a test you can always reset all rules and profiles on the simple settings pane - after reset it should show the default set of rules in the italian version as well.

The % char masks some special characters - it is not needed for the localized strings (you don't need to use it as a translator) but added when modifying the fieldRules and saving them to the preferences - I created the italian version this way.
The character encoding has been added as a bugfix in version 0.8:
QUOTE
- The nsISecretDecoderRing methods encryptString/decryptString cannot handle characters above the Latin-1 (ISO-8859-1) charset.
The usage of encodeURI/decodeURI on the fieldRule properties bypasses this problem as a workaround.


If you update the italian locale based on the version I released on AMO and uploaded here on BZ (without any example values or additional rules) I will gladly release an updated version including your updated localization.
