Attached is pl-PL locale for BookmarksHome, version 1.2.10 smile.gif
(Old attachment has been removed)

PS. Maybe it would be better to change topic's name to reflect the actual version?

Thanks Leepa and chuzo for your translations (I just saw them). I hope you are willing to make new ones, because I've made a new version with considerable changes. I'm adding the xpi so that you know the context for the translation (need to do a few more things before releasing it). Looking forward to your translations!

smile.gif very good, we are pleased to have you back here ! smile.gif
I have just translated and tested (everything works fine).
I left an abbreviated form for "default" as you did in en-US. Don't you think the full word could be used (there is room left, it seems ?)

Note to translators : Don't forget to translate the title (in the header part) of the readme.html page, as I did at first dry.gif ) smile.gif

That's a quick response! I'm now tracking this topic (receiving email for every post) so that your translations can be quickly added. As for the "default", Goofy, the full word can be used, but I like it (a bit) better this way. Translators can follow their own taste of course wink.gif

Jeroen, sorry for being too late, but I've been on exams at University and I didn't have time.

I promise you I will upload my locale tomorrow morning. I've just finished it, but I need to check some translations before sending it to you.

Thanks!

Thanks guys, I have all the locales now. And each locale has its own surprises! Nice style for the readme file, Reineke! And who would have thought that there would be a page devoted to catalan search engines! Hope to check out the japanese locale soon too:

http://dspnet.fr.eu.org/~lonewolf/LinuxJap...h_Japanese.html

One more thing. I talked to Goofy about a way to alert the translators when new translations are needed. Sending each translator a private message is a way, but a bit cumbersome. Also, it would be nice to know when translations will be ready. Then I know when I should update my extension (now I'm happy; 3 locales and a bugfix in only one update happy.gif ). It's ok however, when it takes some time. Let me know what you think!

I think we should change the way we are working now. In my opinion, extension updates are for bugfixes or new features, and translations need to be all of them with each new version.

The best way to do it, in my opinion, is to have a list with all translators for each extension, and before making a public release of a new version of an extension, a mail is sent to all translators. Then, they have some time (a week, for example), to post new locales here, at babelzilla forum, and after those ten days extension is released with ALL locales (if there is a locale missing, unstranslated strings are added in English in order to keep the extension working).

What do you think about it?

-----------------------------------------

Jeroen, do you like our page for catalan search engines? At Softcatalà we thought it would be easyer for people to install search engines from there instead from an English page. We're also making a Wiki with all the extensions, and their translators:

Hi Jeroen I have noticed that you have released a new version of bookmarkhome that requires new translations wink.gif

This is the xpi file-> (attachment removed) of a 'special' version containing the improved Italian localization!
In fact this version contains a little modification which allows to translate the "Default" word contained in the bmhPrefs.rdf file ... it is really a little mod: I have created this entity (bookmarkshome.default) and I have added it to all the locales folder tongue.gif

I hope you can use this version as update and upload it in the WTS biggrin.gif

Bye bye

Added by MatrixIsAllOver
Please don't consider the attached xpi file as an 'official release'!!! wink.gif

Xpi file is now 'old', therefore it has been removed
