Add localzed extension description

You can traslate the description editing install.rdf file.

If you use method for Gecko 1.9, the best way is prepare another one file with strings which you add to install.rdf file and (if you want) strings for summary and description on AMO page.

This option allows you to choose when the Download Manager's Tab should open-select itselfs.
This event occurs when a new download starts downloading.

I know that option is not very comprehensible.

I have a question to you: if I'll submit a new version with the previous language-changes what will happend?
Should I left all the missing description strings blank into locales (except for it-IT and en-US)?

Before upload new version you should download all locales with option 'missing strings blank' Pay attention that in the new version in the chrome.manifest file are present all registered locales, even file is empty. Please wait some minutes, I prepare my version this extension with some improvements in the options window.

"extensiondesc" is text for install.rdf file. In this case is the same as for AMO, but you can change text for AMO. In the summary can be up to 250 characters, but for extension description is more than enough.
I forgot about translator credits. You can add to amo.properties something like:
transcred= and info for translators about insert translator name in this place e.g.:
transcred=Leszek(teo)Życzkowski
and in the install.rdf:
<translator>Leszek(teo)Życzkowski</translator>

Now I'm using this code:

and

It works, but if I change that with

extensiondesc=Potenzia il Download Manager di Firefox

It doesn't work :(

All strings from amo.properties are for manually insert to install.rdf and on AMO page. Before upload to AMO you should remove amo.properties file from package. This file is only for your convenience. Old localize extension description method working automatically. Give me 15 minutes for prepare files for old method.

Sorry for little delay.

In the attached file are files:
install.rdf — copy this file to root directory
cdm.js — copy this file to defaults->preferences
cdmanager.properties — copy this file to locale->en-US

Now localize description should be working automatically.

I'd like to insert the shutdown feature in the next release of cdmanager

Gabriele,
One remark – if you decide upload to BabelZilla new version with reworded strings, you should remove all changed in the en-US locale entities form all locales. Changed and new entities should be only in the en-US or newly translated locale e.g in your native language. After that translators will be see new strings to translate.

I uploaded a new version of my addon with some changes at locales.
Next version will include shutdown function.
