I have 2 words and one explanation text.
Please help me translate to French.
(The word to translate are in bold text)
Thank you very much
Sonthakit.

----------------------------------------
"Attention"
"Attention Alert"

What is the "Attention Alert"?
This alert is an attempt to get the user's attention. How this happens varies based on OS and window manager.
- On Windows, the taskbar button for the window flashes, if this hasn't been disabled by the user.
- On Linux, the behaviour varies from window manager to window manager - some flash the taskbar button, others focus the window immediately. This may be configurable as well.
- On Macintosh, the icon in the upper right corner of the desktop flashes.

Hi sonthakit,

Not easy to translate if we don't know for what extension these strings are made for... happy.gif
Translation proposition (should be proofread by some other french translator):
QUOTE (jojaba)
"Vigilance"

Thank you very much.

I am adding new alert system for gmail watcher namely "attention alert"
The reference is from
https://developer.mozilla.org/en/DOM/window.getAttention

New alert will show on context menu and preference dialog

Credit will give to "jojaba" which will show on about dialog box

If you think that some word should change. Please tell me.

One question. Should it be "Alerte Vigilance" instead of "Demande de vigilance"?

Again. Thank you very much.

The translation should be changed indeed.
How is "Sound Alert", "Display Alert", "Blink Alert" translated, please ? Are they translated?
Why don't you submit on the wts?

All other translation part had been finish.
This is an addition translation.

One question. Should it be "Alerte Vigilance" instead of "Demande de vigilance"?

I would suggest to localize the access keys as well, thus getting rid of all those instances of (..) wink.gif
While the bankers all get their bonuses I’ll just get along with what I’ve got

It's OK for me. I would prefer to translate "Alert" by "Avertissement" but "Alerte" is also ok. You should write the "Sonore", "Visuel",... without uppercase first letter ("sonore", "visuel",...) in the "Alerte Sonore", "Alerte Visuel" strings...
+1 for Mark comment.

Who is the main translator ? Was it me (I mean, did I translate all the strings ?). If not, It would be better to leave the credits to the main translator. ;)

No. There is a previous translator.
I can put both names into credit.
But if you want to be anonymous, I can do that.
