I have an SDK-based (restartless) addon named Fastest Search. It's truly one of a kind addon that will significantly increase your productivity and is among the top rated addons on AMO (see demo video here). Some users urged me to localize it, so here I am, requesting your help to translate it to French.

This is a big translation task, 47kb en-US.properties file, not for the faint of the heart. It took me a lot of time to make such a huge and hugely useful addon, along with numerous options and in-app documentation, hence the remarkable size of the file.

I wish someone with a lot of enthusiasm for the addon (and maybe perseverance too) would help translate the file to French. I put the latest localized version of addon as well as the en-US.properties file at my website (I also attached the addon and en-US.properties files to this message).

If you finish the translation, please send it to me through email (found in the page above) or reply here and attach the file. Don't forget to let me know how you want your name displayed/credited in Fastest Search's 'About' link in its Options panel.

Hello Liu,

Why don't you submit your extension to WTS? It would ease the translation process since we would be able to work in team.
In your translation page ( http://mingyi.org/FastestSearch/locales.html ), you forgot to tell about the encoding (utf-8).

SDK-based addons do not work in WTS as far as know. I think you translated my TableTools2 in WTS right? I would've used it for Fastest Search if it works. SDK-based addons actually has en-US.json in its package instead of en-US.properties.

Thanks for your effort anyhow! It's totally understandable - Fastest Search incorporated tremendous number of innovative or existing but improved features. The docs, interface strings require a lot of effort to translate.

Personally, I use Fastest Search more than any other addon and can't switch to Chrome because of it. I use TT2 sparingly myself too.
