Hi biggrin.gif
Also for this extension there is already an existing Italian translator!
I'll invite him here as soon as possible

Ok, what's the catch here?
I translated the files, edited install.rdf to include the locale, edited the install.js and chrome.manifest files accordingly but i can't get it working anyway.
What am i doing wrong here?

@Sonickydon:

I've just tested your translation and it works fine for me:

But you have got an error in options.dtd file. You cannot use some characters as '&' in dtd files, see this link for more information:

I use to translate files localy and then upload them here, All importand characters are escaped in the local files.. including '<> / «»' and though they don't show up as escaped in the wts they are when i download the locales..so i guess i'm doing something wrong elsewhere!
is the process that i described in my previous post right? could it be some encoding problem ? i encode all files as utf8, should i use some other encoding for the install.js file ?

I attach here .xpi file with your translation, you could compare with yours.

I'm done with the translation, waiting for a review before i turn the state to released.
However, there's a minor issue.
When you edit a css file in a sidebar, there's a button on top with a tooltip named stick/unstick. I can't understand exactly what it does so i can't translate it. Before i ask such a rather stupid question in the developer's forum, is there anybody here that could help ?

Anyone knows how to contact the it-IT translator?

I tried to contact gibikappa, the previous 'official' Italian translator of Web Developer, several months ago, but unfortunately I never received his/her answer. rolleyes.gif
She/he never joined here.
I think you can try to contact him again via PM, (s)he is a member of your Forum.

Good luck.

sorry if my question is stupid:
