The original spiderzilla webpage hosted at mozdev.org hasn't been updated for ages and I did not know of the updates until I came across this topic. Could BatBat update this or at least put a pointer to the Geckozone page?

Thanks!

Phil

As i said some days (monthes???) ago in this topic, the original author "Lenrock" doesn't reply to my mails (nothing wrong with his different addresses but no answer). But he's still the author and i can't modify http://spiderzilla.mozdev.org (i ask to mozdev's admins to make a pointer to Geckozone but they can't...) !
There is a pointer to the Geckozone page at the top of this topic and i'll make a english webpage soon.

Arg ohmy.gif ! Sorry but i think that every translators of Spiderzilla have to register one more time...
I didn't think that every locales would be overwritten...

Note that in spiderzilla.properties you've got a line called "spiderzilla.SecondHomePage"
In this field you may put your own localized spiderzilla homepage (if you have one of course) smile.gif

I have contacted the admins at mozdev.org. Apparently they have a Abandoned Project Takeover Process which you can use to take over the project page at http://spiderzilla.mozdev.org/.
QUOTE(David Boswell <davidwboswell@yahoo.com> @ Mon, 5 Dec 2005 19:29:34 -0800 (PST))
Anyone interested in taking over an abandoned project can email the admin list and one of the admins will respond.  In general, the process is for the person interested to make an attempt to contact the current owner.  If there is no response, we can switch ownership of an abandoned project after a few days if we judge it to be truly abandoned.
The address to write to is admin@mozdev.org. Do let me know if you do go through with this.

Cheers.

Phil

I contacted them.
I'll let you know what will append.

To all. Could you please confirm on WTS that the locale you made is good ?
Thank you all !

Hi,

New version released -> 1.5.3
No locales changes to do (i just added russian and slovak locales)
You can just turn it on "released" directly your locale on WTS

Note that the spiderzilla.mozdev.org website is now under my control! cool.gif
with the help of mozdev's admins
rockon.gif

There is now a macosx version too

Hi BatBat!
In the PROPERTIES file, there is an empty string: "standardProxy", what should I write here? For now, it is empty too.

This is the adress of the proxy for the connection but most of the time there isn't one.
it doesn't matter if you put nothing on it.

I don't know if WTS still give an "orange space" or something like that when there's an empty field... i think Goofy or Fenian would have resolved this "bug" but it doesn't care.

BatBat:
Something seems to be broken when opening the options menu from the extension manager. Then the options window in version 1.5.3 looks like this:

When opening the dialog from the Tools menu, everything works fine as in version 1.5.2
Can anyone else reproduce this?

Hi BatBat,

I found a problem with version 1.6.0, look at this screenshot (in the bottom):

IPB Image

I tried the extension on Windows OS, with Firefox 1.5.0.7 a 2.0RC2.

When ready I'll post it here. Probably weekend or so
What happened with this announcement ? I recently registered as Dutch translator for this extension.

Hi... Is this project still alive?

If so I would like to take over the Turkish tranlastion (minor corrections needed in the current one).

And I am going to ask a previous question again: "StandardProxy"; it is shown as untranslated.
What should I do: a) translate as "standard" + "proxy", b) copy as "StandardProxy", c) explain the "standard-proxy"

Note: I don't have time actually to develop this extension anymore, so version 1.6.0 will surely be the last one for me. But i'm sure it could be a great extension. Well… anybody interested to continue this project can develop a new version with a better interface and contact me.

The last version is from 2007...
