Just a bit of information for you: in case you have some queries about the WTS, you can find short and simple Questions&Answers about it here! In case you're looking for a specific translator, please see the list of available translators on BabelZilla. When you select the desired one, you can send him/her a P.M. or an e-mail (if and when public). You may also insert a new Topic in the Help Section, in order to ask for specific translations, to write a general request about missing translations, etc. -------------------- Think Global, Make Locales!

Hi PhoneixS,
I made some changes on the pt-BR translation to make it more intuitive to those that are not TI professionals. It's already released. I also have some suggestions. First: Show a feedback while the checksum is being calculated. It takes some time for big files, such as Linux distro images. The dialog stays locked, and some people may think it is a bug. Second: An option to enter the checksum informed on the page, before the download ends, and verify it as soon as the download is completed. This way we can copy the checksum and leave the download page. Third and major suggestion: Integrate with the great Download Statusbar extension. Best regards, Marcelo Ghelman |

I have added the request that you say in it except the second (that I have already added it in the start of the proyect). The links are First request, Second request, Third request. Hi PhoneixS
A Danish (da-DK) version of MD5 Reborned Hasher has been localized, tested and released. The file path does not show non-ascii chars like the Danish æ, ø, and å right! The letter ø turns into %C3%B8. So a path containing my name, Jørgen, will contain J%C3%B8rgen. That doesn't look right. Joergen aka Jørgen Added later: Here is the Danish text for AMO, UTF-8 encoded:

Hi PhoneixS
I see more strings here at BZ than I can find in the interface of the latest version of MD5 Reborned Hasher. I find it difficult to make a god translation of strings I can't see in the right context. Could you provide a xpi file (doesn't need to work) or screen shot of the missing UI. Joergen |

Hi Phoneix,
There is a mistake in prefs.js because of whom the description of extension is untranslated. CODE pref("extensions.md5rehasher@phoneixs.es.description", "chrome://md5sum/locale/md5sum.properties"); The localization file should be md5sumDL.properties. Regards, x10firefox |

What happened to the pt-BR translation?
I've already releaset it, but now it's all blank, except one single string. Could you please restore it? If you don't have a backup, I'll have to redo all the job. Thanks, Ghelman |

Hi Ghelman,
If you don't have a backup, I'll have to redo all the job. If you don't have a backup and you have not installed the prerelease version, you can find your locales in %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<default profile>\extensions\md5rehasher@phoneixs.es\chrome\locale\pt-BR (Windows only). In other SO the path should be similar. Good luck! x10firefox |

Do you mean you do not have a backup yourself? Ouch. Hi Markh, I'll tell you a Backup Tale. Once upon a time, there was a translator that used to make backup of his translations. Time have passed, and now he reached a big amount of work (106 extensions, and growing). Now it's just impossible to keep his backup up to date. The reason is that, to take a full backup, he needs to make some mouse clicks for each extension inside Babelzilla. This translator have a wish: a link that takes backup of all of his extensions translations. And a greater wish for all of us: an integration between Babelzilla and some version controls system, such as CVS. This would make us more confident that our work will not be lost, either by a developer mistake, or because of some problem on the WTS database. And we would be happy, for ever and ever. []'s Ghelman |
