Turkish (tr-TR) locale added to WTS!

But in DTD file, because of the "pdfdownload.DownloadQuestionLabel" is empty, the translation is shown as "98% translated" smile.gif I wanted you to inform you that the translation is finished.

smile.gif French locale updated too on the wts
- No problem with the 98%, it is just because there is a void entity (pdfdownload.DownloadQuestionLabel) , with nothing to translate of course, but the locales are complete however.
Empty space "alone" is not recognized by wts strings-counter (already reported bug)

Hebrew is done 100% ! Fully tested.. dont see any typos tongue.gif .. good to know "pdfdownload.DownloadQuestionLabel" lol .. i already typed in something just to make it complete lol..

Also hebrew translates pretty good with WTS .. only thing that needs reverse translation is windows dialog menus (such as the browse for pdf client entry)..

If someone from BabelZilla.org is reading this ... it would be very very comfortable to reverse the direction when editing withing the site (e.g: right to left typing instead of traditional left to right). It would make translating hebrew (or say - arabic) a perfect errorless proccess.

Don't put anything in "pdfdownload.DownloadQuestionLabel": it must be an empty string, ok???

Thanks,

Denis

dry.gif I am very sorry denis, I discovered something going wrong with my french locale that I cannot fix after numerous and various attempts.
I must say the problem only appears with my fr-FR locale, everything is fine with en-US, so I don't suspect any code problem.

So.
When I open the extension option window and want to select another pdf reader, the "Browse" button is inactive blink.gif

See the red zone on the screenshot

do you mean that you can't press that button and choose a custom pdf reader????
You can't do this in every situation or only in a particular one?

No, I can't. Clicking on the button does not open a browse window, though it opens without prob when I switch to en-US.

I've found the problem: it was caused by a trick used in the code, that with your localization caused an error. Do you know what happens if I upload the corrected version of my extension to WTS? The translators should release their translation another time also if I didn't change any localization file?

Waiting your answer, I decided to attach the new fixed version of PDF Download to this post.

Merry Xmas and Happy new Year to everybody.

Denis

smile.gif thanks for your concern. I am happy to see the little bug is fixed.
If you upload WITH all your already-existing- locales (even when not 100% translated) included and with all of them listed in the install.rdf and/or chrome.manifest, there should be no problem for the locales.

If accidents happen, translators will just upload their locales again without having the pain or retranslating all.

I received a PM on "Translation requested" for Hungarian language. So I picked it up, and just released it.

It would be great if the strings of the converted HTML header also were included in the localization.

I checked the quality of the converted HTML with a PDF file in Hungarian language. For my great sorrow, two critical wovels, which are not present in the Western codepage, were skipped. Please try this link.

When I click a PDF link in the browser, your extension pops up the question "You have selected a PDF file. What do you want to do?". When I chosse the "View as HTML" button, it displays the converted page in the browser. This page begins with a grey cell with texts in English. It would be gtreat to be able to localize them.

Now I've understood what you meant, but I really don't have any idea about how to do that. Any suggestion?
