Mmm... probably it could be better!

And for the 'localization question', no problem. l0stintranslation and me will wait for a decision about the package before wink.gif

I found some strings missing in dtd file:

Peekko Chat Options (options window title)

Appearances (submenu) and all its items

Text Foreground Color
Text Background Color
Text Foreground Window
Text Background Window
Font Size

They do not seem to be in any xul file maybe in javascript files?

Please download the very last localized version on this (french guide wiki) page :
http://peekko.com/ch...n francais.html
wink.gif
(for your information, the strings you mention are from the content/preferences.xul

I am sorry this extension has no .jar file yet so cannot be recognized by the wts, then you have to attach your zipped locale here when you feel like it. Thanks.

When WTS issue is solved I will upload the Spanish locale files, in the meantime I attach them here.

@goofy and shane: I have tried to edit the wiki page but no way, most of the time I cannot open the page and when could, I did not know how to register in order to edit the text (I am thinking about changing my nickname to "doomed" or "clumsy", probably it would be more accurate for me). So I have translated the Quickguide and FAQ, and also attached them in the second zip file. Hope they are useful.

smile.gif Very good and thanks a lot. I send your work to Shane this very day.
You are not clumsy nor doomed laugh.gif , it is the wiki page which is unfortunately very often unavailable ranting2.gif, much to Shane's disagreement too.
But I am easily in contact with him (throughout his own extension of course) and we will manage to have your work appearing online as well as soon as possible. I can say he is very grateful for all localizing work. Thanks again. wink.gif

Very good smile.gif

... but the currently loaded version of the extension misses some strings (Appearance tab in Options) and when I upload the locale files and download again from WTS the "added" strings have disappeared. sad.gif

Perhaps it would be better to load the "full localized" version, provided that it is possible, of course.

1. Correction to previous post : no need to re-submit, Shane just issued a beta release (see homepage). Better wait some time and have it here In the meanwhile, just have a backup copy of your locales (just in case) dry.gif

2. I am pleased to announce the wiki pages are available again, and I can unlock them if they happen to be locked again. So translators feel free to add your contribution if you feel like it.

OK, Spanish locale released in WTS This last version has a typo corrected, it replaces the previoulsy posted here.

Goofy: Options window title still remains in English (the string is included in the dtd file, but not used: see preferences.xul line 9) but it does not affect to locales file.

smile.gif Good news : a new update is on with en-US, es-ES, it-IT ans fr-FR
(please translators friends check everything is OK)

dry.gif Bad news : Teboga's work for pt-BR was not included so I will ask immediately to Fenian if he can fish back his locale in the archives...
Sorry Teboga, just stay tuned.

Well, I noticed an "Appearance" tongue.gif in the preferences.xul file, but I think this has been a forgetfulness exactly like for Options window title wink.gif
Also in this case it doesn't affect any localization

smile.gif Grazie Luana for you eagle eye (the entity was duly reported in the locale but I used another content - Goofymistake #1458)

-- For transparency's sake, I have to say that Shizzy (Shane Cialis) gave me his password for his account here and wants me to manage with locales for him. And of course I will report and send him translators works smile.gif
