Remote XUL Manager

Translator for Spanish (es-AR / Argentina)

Creator: Jorge Villalobos
Ext. Version: 0.9

Extension is compatible to:
Firefox: 1.0 - 1.5.*
Included locales: en-GB,en-US,es-AR,es-ES
Description:
This is a simple extension that makes it easier to subscribe to RSS feeds to Thunderbird from Firefox.
The only detail you should look out for is the thunderss.tip.thunderbird string. This text appears in a multiline tooltip, and due to a bug in tooltips, I had to set a fixed height of 3 lines to it. So, you should test your translated text and try to make it fit properly in the 3 lines. Thank you! biggrin.gif

Oh, and an extra tip. On {Firefox Installation}/chrome/{your locale}.jar/locale/browser/browser.properties you will find a couple of useful strings:
feedHasFeeds has the translation of "Live Bookmarks"
feedDescription has the translation of "feed"
Hope this helps wink.gif

Russian (ru-RU) locale is being tested.
I've got one question: where should I go to and what should I do there in order to test the extension fully?
When I click on RSS icon at the input bar, as far as I see nothing got changed. Or, do I do something wrong?

Good question. If you have the extension installed, when you hover on the RSS icon you should see the text "Subscribe to" instead of "Add to Live Bookmarks". That's a good first way of being sure it's installed.
When you click on the icon a dialog should come up, asking you to pick between Live Bookmarks and Thunderbird. Are you not seing this? Go to the Extension's options and see if the "Ask me every time" checkbox is checked. If not, check it. That should do the trick. Still, the dialog should appear by default after installation.

Hello, I am the developer of this extension.
I thank you all for the fantastic work you've done translating my extension. Given that this extension was only meant for the 1.0 and 1.5 series, and that 2.0 has been out for a while and 3.0 is right around the corner, it is no longer necessary to provide localization for this extension anymore. Firefox already provides a more robust support for RSS, so ThundeRSS is no longer needed.
Once again, thank you for your support.
