@MBokil
I am really happy that you accepted my invitation!

I think that Fenian, Goofy, and Asterxx had translated the previous version into their languages. Am I right? blink.gif

You're right for the de-DE locale smile.gif
I'm working on the new version right now.

de-DE locale complete, now I'm testing.

One question:
bookmarks popup and bookmark window showing the same label and tooltip

Is this correct?

CODE

  <toolbarbutton
 id="menuxBookmarksPopupBtn"
 tooltiptext="&btn.bookmarks;"
       label="&btn.bookmarks;"
       popup="menux-bookmarks-popup">
</toolbarbutton>

  <toolbarbutton
       id="menuxBookmarksBtn"
       class="toolbarbutton-1 chromeclass-toolbar-additional"
       label="&btn.bookmarks;"
       tooltiptext="&btn.bookmarks;"
       oncommand="menuxShowBookmarks();">

Hello Mark
this is my french contribution, which took me some time because I updated from the previous french version without knowing where the new/modified items were blink.gif (especially for the help-contents.html file where some buttons were changed (?)

I think everything is ok now.
Congratulations for the development of this great extension rockon.gif

Thanks for the kind words. I am incorporating your french translation into menux and I will be uploading version 0.2.3 tonite to mozilla.org's addon site.

The bookmark button and the bookmark popup were supposed to have different labels. That was my mistake but I corrected it.

smile.gif Ok, Mark! I have been translating it! cool.gif

@Pedro, Fenian, Teo, Asterxx : the new strings in the dtd are commented at the bottom of the file.
But there are also some additional strings in the properties file and some new entries in the help file. dry.gif

I appologize about the random placement of strings. I started putting them in just one area but then realized there were too many and dropped the strategy.

I found some additional strings in my javascript files and added them to the DTD. I have about two last bugs to work on before the final version comes out: I still need to hook up the function which closes the bookmark window if the user has set the option. This is pretty minor.

Thanks for tranlating menux guys. I appreciate it. I put some *serious* hours into 0.2.4 getting it to work in both 1.0 and 1.5 Firefox. I am a little relieved a major chunk of the work is done.

Okay, I added the FR, EN, and DE locales to the latest build of menux. Here is the latest XPI. It has some minor javascript code changes but no DTD changes. Once I get the remaining locales I will upload it next week to update.mozilla.org

Thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark,
It's no good idea frozen this release. At this time I can't translate:
1. Menux Simple - this string is in the menuxoverlay.js and menuxoverlay.xul files. This string should be adequate in the menuxoverlay.properies and menuxoverlay.dtd files.
2. Webdeveloper Toolbar
3. Menux Messages
4. Menux Tooltip
You made mistake with colors.png and themes.png icons.
Please wait for my e-mail and read carefully.
Teo

Take a look on it biggrin.gif

EDIT

Hi teo,

I understand about the freezing problem. There were a couple of missing strings not in properties and DTD. I took your files and merged them with my new javascript and XUL files. I made certain to get all your DTD new entities and property values -- I think. Please check though to see if it is okay.

Here is a new XPI with EN, FR, PL, DE, and IT locales in it now.

Other localizers might want to wait on this file until Teo and I have decided it is final. Thanks everyone for getting this done so fast. I am hoping by next week this will be ready to upload to mozilla.org. I left a place for FR and DE in the DTD file if you want to add your name as a contributor.

I'm testing the updated Menux in the moment and I've found a little problem:

Clicking on "Change the character encoding for a lanugage" shows the Page Style menu.

I see the problem. What happens is in Firefox 1.0 there isn't an ID in the character encoding menu so I am grabbing the encoding menu by position in the menu. The problem is that the position can change depending on what extensions you have. This is different in Firefox 1.5 since the encoding menu has a hard coded ID. Instead of coding it by position I now search through the menu looking for the encoding attributes. Here is a new file tested on both 1.0 and 1.5.
