Cool, thank's a lot.

By the way, why did you choose 1.7 as a version ? what does it mean, according to the 0.7 version of the extension ?

By the way 2: I don't know what the chrome:previewURL is for, and I can't contact the link you set in it. Could you explain this in a few words ?

Thank's

Well, I´ll try to explain it:

Proyecto Nave is the spanish team for mozilla products translation. We have an automated method based on shell scripts and Mozilla Translator for extension translations. You can see the full documentation here: http://nave.escompos...extensiones.php (only in Spanish sad.gif)

The two values you mentioned are generated by this script. First chrome:localeVersion in contents.rdf is really a deprecated value, you can ignore it wink.gif

This URL will contains info about specific spanish version of extension, but it's not available yet. You can see our main extensions page here:
http://nave.escompos...os/extensiones/

If you select any extension in this page you can see how it works. Page for External Editor will be available in the next days (with the URL included in contents.rdf)

Hum... I corrected a bug about Unicode, and had to add 2 messages. One in the dtd, one in the properties. I updated the xpi.
But I don't know the update process:
- should I just update the original locale (english), and you will get the new messages in it, and update your lcoales [this is what I did now]
- or should I copy the english translations for every new messages in all locales ?

Updated spanish translation with new messages wink.gif

About your question, updating original language (en-US) may be sufficient (at least for me)

thank's, that's fast !
I asked the question to my italian translator (pedro), but you may have an idea about it too. This is about the extension development:
When I added new messages, can I release the extension without all updated locales ? (and do I have to manage for the extension to use an english message if a locale translation is missing? Because at present, it crahes if a locale translation is missing).
Or should I wait for all locale to be updated before I'm "allowed" to release the new version ?

I think this is not possible, if an entity isn't defined in a locale dtd, TB will return an error.

Of course, that's ideal. If you release a new version with no translations updated, you should copy the english translations for every new messages.

I didn't understand why I always had spanish msgs, even when requesting english !

your contents.rdf is wrong here. (it specifies en-US instead of es-ES)
I took back your 1st version.

Hi Globs I am gonna updating the translation but I have a problem with the only one string that requires translation ops.gif
What do you mean with "8+3 name file"?
Eight letters for the name and three for the extension?
Sorry for this stupid question but I am not able to understand it user posted image
