Great idea, been wondering if something along these lines existed - the business of getting a bookmark folder opened is easily forgotten and ignored, this is just the thing... biggrin.gif

Welcome here on Babelzilla. Danish has been added (still need testing, not released yet).

One of those extensions where you really want to translate the extension name too... but I won't as this is the deal we've made among the dk translators, and ofcourse it wouldn't quite be fair to users. rolleyes.gif

Hi AlleyKat, and thanks for the translation! What is the standard practice on translating the extension name? I know in many languages brand names stay the same, but some can't deal with foreign words. I'm keen to to abide by whatever custom makes the most sense for a given language. For reference's sake, what would be the Danish translation for "Morning Coffee"?

"Morgenkaffe" - but no, we always use the english names as the users must have the option of being able to google up help and/or info on an extension, and if we translate the name it just makes it awfully much harder to find.

If I do a googling as it is now, there's immediate help to find. I think we want to keep it that way. If the install ever gets to contain that extra localized name field I'm all for it, but as it is now I think sticking to one name is for the better.

I understand it's being debated on bugzilla, but takes both changing of the standard for the extensions and the AMO-system to ever get there (same as the description, but without the workaround I think was the essence). Not soon I think...

Ah, excellent point. I hadn't thought of the support-googling issue.

Thanks for the help... I've so far been very impressed with the community and support at Babelzilla.

Nice work done, congratulations. I have taken the liberty to do the Dutch (nl-NL) translation and have released it.

One remark: please extend the CloseTab tooltip field, because it now cuts off the line. I even tried to shorten the translation line but that wasn't enough. huh.gif

Hello "napthali"!

Made Croatian locale, tested and...

Question/Suggestion:
- in Firefox extension window, short description od extension ("Keeps track of daily routine websites and opens them in tabs")
It would be great if that description could be translated trough "morningCoffee.dtd" in locale folder, not in "install.rdf" in main folder.

Regards!

Proud to be BabelZillan!

Hi Shane,
Welcome to Babelzilla. Thanks for nice extension, but I have some remarks:
1. Make localize description
2. Polish characters written in install.rdf file are bad displayed in the extension description in the Extension Manager.
3. I made litle change in the morningCoffeeConfigDialog.xul file for better look. Check included file.

Thanks, teo! I'm working on a localized description. If you don't mind, could you send me your real name (by private message, if you so desire) so that I can credit you in the source?

Shane,
I sent you a PM. I forgot about one sugesstion. In the morningCoffeeOverlay.xul file in line 93 you used accessKey="M". All is OK when translator doesn't translate 'Morning Coffee' or if his translation is 'M' character, otherwise 'M' is not matching with the translation. I propose to move this ak to the .dtd file. wink.gif

I'm planning on releasing the new version of Morning Coffee this weekend. If would be great if I could get the following translations finished:

da-DK: 100%, but still in testing/QA
de-DE: 68%
ru-RU: 98%

Thanks to everyone for their work thus far!

Oh my! I'm sorry about that... I must have done something wrong in the update. Thanks for pointing that out to me.

Is there any easy way to remove the strings that were erroneously "translated," or do I just need to re-upload the extension?

Where is that option? I see the ability to view the translation, but the "Save" button is disabled for me.

With the current version of the Web Translation System only the official translators of whichever extension can delete/modify/improve strings and abviously save the changed file(s)! wink.gif
