Yep. It's "Default number of items:". In the early versions I had a little bit less room, so I abbreviated it. I have now changed it in the english locale to "Default number of items:".

Anyway, I don't have a lot of time right now, but es-AR and it-IT seem to work fine. But Goofy's French locale gives a DTD error. I will check it out tonigh.

I have uploaded a new version with all locales. If one of you still has problems, please check:
- The Tools/Javascript console for GLG error messages.
- If it works if you open the GLG from the Tools menu instead of the toolbar.

Others, could you try it on a clean Ff profile? (Read more about your Ff profile.

If it does work on a clean/new profile, I will need to know which other extensions you have installed. It might be a conflict between GLG and another extension. If you don't want your extensions to be publicly known, you can mail it to me.

I always use a new clean profile to test the extensions smile.gif I have installed on the new profile only GLG sad.gif
If I am the only one with this problem, the mistake is certainly mine... I'll try again tongue.gif

add me in your failure team dry.gif , even after re-testing with clean new profile, even when testing the extension with en-US locale alone, even after deleting the & sign in the translation (such as "fruits & vegetables", I suspected that in vain)

This is not strange bahaviour, this is plain not working... Though I have already tested it on 4 different pc's.

Can 1 of you tell me if the 'database' files have been created? If so, these will be in your profiles' chrome dir, and named glg_items.dat and glg_dishes.dat. And is there something in these files? (should be a # sepparated list of dishes/items.

If you have also tried to open the GLG, then these files should be created. If not, then it's probably an access right/permission problem for that folder. I already did some search on that, but I could not find anything about default permissions on the chrome folder.

Don't worry all, I will not let Goofy, his wife, and his 3 kids starve!
