Dutch (nl-NL) locale released. A remark though: the option of changing the standard link behavior does not seem to work properly, and the field with the behavior description is too short. I can change the link behavior, but I cannot change it back. See attached image in this post. Nothing further, your honor.

That error is caused by the maxlength attribute in the link behavior text box. It was cropping the text after a certain number of characters so the text string couldn't be compared to the saved preference. I have fixed that problem and also added a flex attribute to the 'link behavior' text box to display the full text. These updates are included in v2.0.5. Thanks for catching that error. And please let me know if you experience any other problems with the extension.

Still some problems with the same box: somehow, the cropped text from the former version is displayed, which leads to the inability to change it. At first, I thought it was a residue of the previous version so I un- and reinstalled, but this didn't do the job.

Any suggestions? please.gif

Oops. biggrin.gif You need to reset the splitlink.linkbehavior preference. Just type about:config into your browser and scroll down to splitlink.linkbehavior. Then right click on the preference and click reset. I will add code to this version to prevent this from happening again. Sorry for the inconvenience. Cheers.

Thanks, it works fine now. I discovered another issue involving window sizing though: the window from the context menu does not resize according to the fields and button, with the result below. Could you also look at that?

Released again, as I assume that this will not invoke new translation issues.

You can control the size and location of the popup in the options window. I have thought about automatically resizing the window each time it's opened, but that would eliminate the ability to customize the size of the popup. A width of 425 and a height of 250 seems to work better. Perhaps I should include those settings as the defaults instead? What settings do you prefer for the height and width?

If you leave the height and width boxes blank it just uses the default sizes instead. The defaults are currently 380 x 250.

I suppose 425x250 would do the trick, and yes, please set this as the default. It will not clutter the screen for most users, as they will probably have a high screen resolution.

You will occasionally find a new line character '\n' in some of the locale entities. That character is necessary since javascript alert boxes do no automatically wrap text to the next line. Unfortunately that means that you have to manually insert them which can take up quite a bit of time. Sometimes even if you insert them at regular intervals (ex: every 45 characters) the alert box still isn't properly formatted. So instead of repeatedly changing the locale and then re-installing the extension to test the alert boxes I have provided an easier way to add the new line characters. Visit the webpage listed below for more info.
