Selected that desired one, you may send him a P.M. or an e-mail (if and when public).

I should be its French translator when the extension will be well entered in BabelZilla. I have asked him to put its extension in babelZilla

It seems that there is a problem in this extension in BabelZilla.

I suppose that the problem is linked to the fact that there is a chrome sub-folder inside the JAR file.
That gives the following structure (I have not noted the files) :
XPI\chrome\securelogin.jar\chrome\content
XPI\chrome\securelogin.jar\chrome\locale\de-DE
XPI\chrome\securelogin.jar\chrome\locale\en-US
XPI\chrome\securelogin.jar\chrome\skin
XPI\defaults\preferences

Can an administrator confirm that is the reason that show an empty page under the WTS ?
EDIT : it was because the extension was not uploaded I suppose ?

I'm a hungarian tarnslator for Secure Login 0.6.3.
I can't test the ext.
No toolbar button, the settings window does not shows...

Hi Cashman,

I have downloaded the file provided by the WTS. It seems to be not the good one because there is no JAR file inside the chrome sub-folder.

You should download the file on Secure Login Web page : HERE

This version works right.

You should add manually the icon in the toolbar like for the others icons. It is explained on the Help. The Help can be found in the Tools menu / Secure Login or doing a right click on the key icon on the status bar.

I'm sorry for the confusion:
My extension had a non-standard folder structure (but it worked nonetheless).
I built it with the extension developer extension which does a good job in making extension development more comfortable.
Unfortunately, these builds weren't recognized by the WTS-System used here.
So I uploaded a version which would recognize the language files, but this version didn't work as extension.

To end the confusion:
- I'm using now my own simple UNIX bash script for extension packaging.
- The folder structure is now following the standards.

I released a new version (0.6.4, no new strings to translate) including the translation from menet and Cashman and uploaded it here as well.
It works with the WTS and is the same working extension that I provide for download on https://blueimp.net/mozilla/

So thanks to both of you for the translation effort.
Thanks especially to menet for pointing me here.
And thanks to MatrixIsAllOver for the welcome.

I have corrected one word (2 times) in the secureLogin.dtd french file, in helpdescription51.label, the word "champ" has not "s" at the end in this case.

Why the secureLogin.properties file that I create with UNIX format and UTF-8 characters is transformed when I look it inside your XPI updated file?
All the special French characters are updated : \u00e0 for à, \u00e9 for é and \u00ea for ê
Then when I do comparison, the 2 files are always different.
The 2 different files works well with Firefox but my file is more easy to be read (under Windows).

These (\u00e0) are escape sequences to make sure that the properties file contains only ASCII encoded characters.
I'm following the guide here:

On every properties file I get I run the native2ascii command line utility bundled with Sun's Java Development Kit (JDK) which escapes any non-ASCII characters:

If you have the JDK installed, you can revert those files to your local encoding to make them better readable:

I will release an updated version of Secure Login soon, including the corrected "champ" word in French DTD file, Cashmans corrections and the new Czech translation from funTomas.
But I think I'll wait until the Polish and maybe the Russian translation have been done.

About Properties file, I have entered a topic in BabelZilla HERE, because I was not happy with your remark about using escape characters rather than UTF-8 format.

I have made this entry because, in the past from time to time, I have encountered Properties files encoded with escape characters. But with passing time and new versions, I have remarked that it was less and less the case.
It is why, I have done this previous reply and this topic.

According to user requests, I have added an option called

Submit login form automatically

.
If unchecked, the login form will not be submitted automatically.

This adds another string that needs localizing - So I uploaded a new version (0.7.1pre).

Please post here if you'll change more than this string in secureLogin.dtd:

According to menet's notion, I skipped escaping non-ASCII characters and encoded the properties in UTF-8 as well. Seems this tutorial is outdated and meant only for Firefox versions prior to 1.0.
