Is there any reason why "anniversaire de mariage" has been changed back to "anniversaire" in the french locale? I've got two mails from confused users recently, which made me check the french version again... Please change it to "anniversaire de mariage" again, and keep the change ;-)

I've uploaded a new version, its number is 0.5.4.99, but it's a PRE 0.55
There are some new strings in dtd and properties files.
The extension is still in test, so don't use it for other than translation.

Polish locale tested and released, but I have some remarks:
1. Please explain me what you thought using 'kb' abbreviate. In the Metric-Interchange-Format 'b' mean 'bit', for 'byte' is using 'B'. What is this? - bit or byte?
2. You sometime using 'image' sometime 'photo'. In Polish translation these 2 words aren't synonym. What should be?

new contributor. Yes the release of the extension is the developer's privilege. But as a translator you must give a test of the extension with your locale, then push your translation status on test/qa then on released.

I tried to run a test, but when I'm following the steps of How to test my local.... the 'Other data'- and 'Photo'-tabs disapears.

I've tried to run it several times, but with the same result. Am I doing something wrong here?

Programs I'm using:
7-Zip and PSPad (UTF-8)

mmmh I just tested the version submitted here without change, and it dumps a parsing error when clicking on the options.

@Teddy all you have to do do is report here so that the developer may fix things, assuming you did the right test for your locale ;-)

Hi everybody, here is a new version, with new strings to translate.
Two little notes about that:

1) you can see that there are some strings that are not used in this version: they are needed in TB3 version (i can't uplaod it too because it has the same guid), so please translate all
2) there are some new strings but also some changes in old one, so please check them all

Excellent add-on but not for Thunderbird 3!

This fine add-on works great in Thunderbird 2, but it can corrupt your address book if you use it with Thunderbird 3.

In Thunderbird 3, it will, at a minimum, prevent your address book from functioning properly -- if you have more than one address book, only the Personal Address Book will even have entries. Your mailing lists and other address books will be empty. In addition, the "Allow Remote...." function will fail to work properly when you view emails.

You must uninstall MoreFunctionsforAddressBook before installing Thunderbird 3 -- don't just disable it, but uninstall it before you upgrade to Thunderbird 3. If you don't, you risk corrupting your address book and possibly losing all that is in it.

Thanks for the heads up, although I suppose every user here knows that the extensions hosted here are to be used at own risk and testing in an empty profile is highly recommended. Your statement underpins this once again, so we thank you.
Just so you know, there is already a beta for TB3 on the extensions’s homepage.

The extension posted here is JUST FOR TB2, infact the maxversion is 2.0.0.*
In my website you can find the version for TB3, that uses the same locales but it's a different xpi (there are too many differences from TB2 addressoob and TB3 one to have the same xpi).
I'm sorry if you had problems, but when one "bumps" the maxversion this can happen.
