Creator: Olier Raby
Ext. Version: 1.4.0

Extension is compatible to:
Firefox: 1.5 - 3.6a1pre
Included locales: en fr tr-TR zh-CN
Description: From the context menu, perform MediaWiki requests through hyperlinks or selected texts

View on WTS -- Download the extension

======
Message for the translators.

The files are translated in French and in English.

In zh-CN, there are some texts to translate.

The same comment applies for tf-TR.

In both cases, search for "<!-- To translate -->" in the files. There are other texts, but I am adding features to Weekedit, and these are not stable enough to release them. Thus, if you find "<!-- Work in progress : do NOT translate -->", you know why.

Regards,

Olier Raby

Welcome! welcomeani.gif

Just a bit of information for you: in case you have some queries about the WTS, you can find short and simple Questions&Answers about it here!

In case you're looking for a specific translator, please see the list of available translators on BabelZilla.
When you select the desired one, you can send him/her a P.M. or an e-mail (if and when public).

You may also insert a new Topic in the Help Section, in order to ask for specific translations, to write a general request about missing translations, etc.
While the bankers all get their bonuses I’ll just get along with what I’ve got

smile.gif You are very welcome of course. Some observations here about minor things.
You included in the locale files a certain number of strings where there is nothing to translate, such as
CODE
''[[ ]]''

Of course it is no problem for translators to copy-paste, but you should consider removing these entities and leave corresponding strings in the content for a next version. When you will have a certain number of languages subfolders if will make the extension a little lighter.

There are also entities with blank lines such as
CODE
weekedit.option.map.id
         weekedit.option.tag.custom.id

I suggest you add a small note to tell translators what they should do with it (leave it as it is? insert a space char?...)

Thanks in advance smile.gif

@ translators: this extension is not very difficult to translate, but due to its number of lines it is recommended to begin a (little) team work

There are three lines with nothing to translate in the options.dtd file:

weekedit.option.text.id
weekedit.option.map.id
weekedit.option.tag.custom.id

What can I do?

The translation for portuguese pt-BR is almost complete.
Thanks!

Hello,

I expected to use these tags, but they are no longer in use. Just copy them without any text (e.g., <!ENTITY weekedit.option.text.id "">). I keep them because maybe I will use them in the future.

Regards.

Hi, I started the German translation so Germany can overtake Brazil wink.gif
However I've to ask some questions:

hist_params.properties, Wkdt_1, Filename: locale/en/hist_params.properties
will be Dateiname: locale/de/hist_params.properties, right?

num_sepa.dtd
In German, the separators . and , are used exactly the other way round, so it's not 1,000.50 but 1.000,50 - shall I leave them thousand = , and decimal = . in "Capture the thousand separator (e.g., ',')" and the other string, or should I change them (like I did until now)?

In general:
1. You often made blanks [spaces?] in front of ":", are these wanted, because usually they're behind them and not in front of. (Until now I left the spaces like they were)
2. Is there a comma after "e.g." (see the quotation above)?

Thank you !

Sorry for the delay, I have been busy lately. The site has changed a lot since I came here last time. I am trying to figure where to find the translated files. When I will find them, I expect to send the extension to the Mozilla site within one or two days. Regards.
