Thanks to both of you for the translations. One little thing regarding the Spanish translation, though:

In the DTD file, the entities "sortextensions.about.translationTitle" and "sortextensions.about.translationAuthor" are, for example, in my base (English) version:

"American English translation by"

and

"Robert William Vesterman"

They're intended to give credit in the "About" box to the person providing the particular translation. So instead of literally translating those things into Spanish, could you please provide the Spanish translation of "Spanish translation by" and your name (or however you want to be credited)?

Thanks again.

smile.gif Hello, you are welcome on this board, thanks for your contribution !

We have now an online translation system (WTS) that we would like you to use instead of attaching zipped locales (as we recently did).
You have to go to this page :
http://www.babelzill...n=191&type=lang

and register as the "official" russian translator for this extension. Then you will either translate online or just upload the ru locale, since you have already done it smile.gif

Have a look at the WTS guide :
for example :
What is the Web Translation System (WTS) ?
How to add a translation ?
How to upload the locale files I already have on my computer ?
How to register as official translator if the extension already contains my localization ?
How to register as official translator if the extension does not include my localization ?

Think Global, Make Locales!

Sometimes I am on irc://moznet/BabelZilla
but you can also drop a word in the shoutbox

Thanks! I have updated the extension to include this Polish translation, and submitted it as version 2.1.8. Sorry it took so long - I've been a bit busy recently.

Translators: No changes are necessary for this version. Thanks.

Question: Am I supposed to submit the latest version to babelzilla when no translation changes are necessary, as in this case? Or just when some are necessary? Or does it not matter either way?

Part of me thinks the latest version should always be available here. But on the other hand, I suspect that it might make extra (unnecessary) work for the translators? For example, maybe they're told that a new version has been submitted to WTS, and they then have to check whether any translation changes are necessary? I don't want to waste anybody's time like that.

It's always good to have the latest version here.
But you're right, the translators gets a message that a new version is available.
I'll take this as a suggestion for the next release of the WTS.

I have just uploaded a pre-release version 3.0 to babelzilla. Unlike the version I uploaded yesterday, this one does require translation changes. As always, I would greatly appreciate them. Thanks in advance.

The main change is that the extension now sorts not only extensions, but also themes. So, several strings have been changed to reflect this (for example, from "Click to sort your extensions alphabetically" to "Click to sort the list alphabetically").

The following are the items that have been changed or added:

(in sortextensions.dtd):

sortextensions.about.donateViaAmazon
sortextensions.about.donateViaPayPal
sortextensions.about.helpSupport
sortextensions.about.title
sortextensions.main.sortToolTip
sortextensions.options.showUnsortedWarning
sortextensions.options.title

(in sortextensions.properties):

extensions.{d2298e2c-535c-4ee3-b14e-8bc98a09e06d}.description
appNotSupported
extensionsSorted
notSorted

Once again, thanks very much!
