 ehm though I have the deepest respect for Schiller and Goethe's language, I suggest it would be more useful to translators around the world to have all original strings to translate in English.This one for example may arise some questions  QUOTE BOSactive.label

 Would you please give some hints for the meaning of some strings in your extension specific context?change wings back to classical style Which wings does it refer to ? Compact Shelf View Is it some kind of virtual bookshelf? only 'ot' in brackets Does ot stands for "Off topic" or anything else? BX currently has DST BX probably stands for bookcrossing I suppose, but what is DST- Daylight Saving Time ? Open AVLs What is an AVL ? TIA

thanks for explaining. Also I can now check terms on the French mirror site which includes a handy glossary. @translators there are mirror sites in a good number of languages that can help. see on the main site links in the left-hand side menu. -------------------- Think Global, Make Locales!

I finished the translation of Bookcrossing strings for Brazilian Portuguese (pt-BR). There are some blank lines and a German line in the LinkListCreator.dtd and prefwindow.dtd files.
I inserted an explanation for expressions like "AVL" and "OT", not supressing them. It´s necessary since in portuguese there are not in use so much English notations like that. I think the in brackets explanation will help a lot for the Brazilian users. Work is done! Released! [[]] Edgard |
