I installed the new 0.2.3 WTS version on Thunderbird and I don't seem to see the options

firetray.key_code
firetray.dont_consider_spam
firetray.dont_consider_spam_accesskey
firetray.dont_consider_spam_indications

They are not implemented yet. I tried to insert all the strings I know we will need in the near future, to avoid having to restart the traslation work each time we add a feature.

Ok, fair enough smile.gif

Another little suggestion: please consider the possibility to split the options in two panels just to make easier the assignment of access keys wink.gif

Yes, I was thinking about dividing the options into different tabs, as the panel is growing too much.

I seem to have problems with the keyboard short-cuts even though the options have been split around tabs.
If I give the same key to two different options on two tabs ALT-key clicks the 'second' one. This is even more frustrating if the key is assigned to a disabled button in another tab.

Maybe a problem with the XUL engine? Using Thunderbird 2.0.0.22 (20090608).

Here there is some information about accesskeys, and they mention a similar bug (but is should be fixed by now)

https://developer.mozilla.org/en/XUL_Access...AQ_and_Policies

Using Icewesel (FF) 3.0.11 and Icedove (TB) 2.0.19 seems to work correctly (but only the second duplicate accesskey is working)

Hello, I didn't receive any notification of update but I see you uploaded a 0.2.4 version. smile.gif

In the mail settings, the accesskey for "Use custom icon" is not shown (yet the string is in the WTS)

Ciao smile.gif

edit: another little thing: when installed in Firefox, the "Exit" context menu entry of the icon produces this dialog:

in which the title bar is not localized (doesn't happen when used with Thunderbird)

Hello,

In the 0.3.0-dev version, there is always this option in English:

Thanks ;)

bg-BG locale updated.
Some issues:
- The 'hide to tray on window Minimize' is not translated as Underpass mentions.
- Hovering the tray icon with 5 unread messages says: '5 undefined'. Probably some key issue. When choosing to show new messages it shows correctly '1 ново съобщение'.
*** More: When there is 1 unread message the tool-tip correctly reads '1 непрочетено съобщение', however with 2 new messages it says '2 undefined', seems plural does not work. ***

I am again having a weird issue with 'Start minimized' option.
Thunderbird (3.0.8 Ubuntu x64) opens up, however the window is not hidden. Instead the window displays with no components whatsoever! Just a grey background. If I click the CLOSE button of the window, or click the tray icon, the window shows its components. Afterwards everything seems to work as otherwise expected. I tried with both minimise-on-startup on and off.
I have Compiz Fusion enabled.
I have attached a screen shot as to what Thunderbird looks like when it starts up.
This issue is not new, however I thought it would vanish with the new version.

Something more:

1) notifications (message count) don't seem to work in this version. I swhitched back to 0.2.9-dev to have them again.

2) the 0.3.0 do not contain any language so I had to add locale reference to the chrome.manifest

I've made many changes to the code that handles mail notification count, so this needs to be tested. I don't know if this is the right place for discussing issues, but I would be interested in having more details regarding your configuration options.

Before uploading to the WTS I intentionally removed all the locales to avoid overwriting the ones present in the system. I remember having had problems in the past uploading the package with all the locales included.
What is the safer way to follow?

I wasn't aware of this behaviour. It would be very useful if you could please try to temporarily disable Compiz Fusion and see if the problem persists.

The plural form works correctly, at least with unread messages. I'll need to wait for multiple new mails to test plural new mail message.
I also found out that 'Exclude following special folders from message count' is also not translated.
I am pretty sure the special folders already have translated names in the base language package (yes, they are translated), however I could not find any reference as to how to reference those.
I will try with Compiz disabled, and keep you posted.

Best practice would be to check the WTS before compiling your xpi, include all work in the WTS, check all locale references and correct where necessary and then upload your packed xpi. wink.gif

Hello, I gave it another try and I think the problem with the notification was due to the "unread messages" vs. "new messages" option. I'll chek it out some more.

As Lachezar said, the special folders should honor the Thunderbird localized strings, IMHO,

Another thing: if you look at my option window:

you will see a series of "Cartelle locali" (Local folders) which might be a bit confusing. Is it supposed to work separately for each configured account? Or is it considered once?
In the former case, the account aliases should be referenced. In the latter, maybe it should appear only once.

Thanks a lot for your patience smile.gif

Edit: downloaded the updated version

1) The "firetray.use_user_icon" options lacks AK

2) There is one other untranslatable string: "Exclude following special folders from message count"

3) When the program is on screen I should have "Nascondi tutte" (Hide all), but even in that case I have "Restore all"

4) What is the purpose of

CODE
firetray_unread_messages_alternative_plural
firetray_new_messages_alternative_plural
firetray_junk_messages_alternative_plural

Bye ;)

That groupbox is not definitive and I didn't want to add new strings that may be changed soon.
At the moment only spam folders check is enabled. The exclusion of other folders has yet to be implemented.

The "new message" count feature is rather new and has yet to be well tested. I noticed strange behaviours with imap accounts that needs to be investigated. Feedback is very appreciated.

Your're right. I think that accounts configured to use global folder should be displayed once. I'm not sure if they all share the same settings (the location for special folders such as drafts, spam etc...) but will check.

1) Ok. will be added in the next update.

2) See my previous message...

3) Yes, i know. I've added the code to handle this, but the version of gtk+ installed in the build machines is too old and doesn't have the function used to change the label in menu items. Before releasing I will update the libraries.

4) That is for languages with more than one plural form. The code to actually compose the alternative plural form is not yet (correctly) implemented as I initially thought to use the string "firetray_alternative_plural_applies_to" to hold a comma separated list of numbers with the alt. plural form (-1 if not needed). A better form would be to include in that string a formula to use to determine when to use the 2nd plural form (e.g. "(n % 100 >= 2) && (n % 100 <= 4)". I'm not sure what would be the best way.
What is the solution usually adopted in the babelzilla community?

Just tried the 0.3.0-dev version on Firefox 3.6.10 and the icon is not shown in the system tray.
I'm using Debian testing, if you need other details please ask.
