I misread the instructions and made a mistake when I submitted this version. The included locales all say 100%, but they are 70% at best and some closer to 50%. They all need translating, in case that was stopping anybody.

People who have themes installed in Firefox have complained that DMT overwrote the changes that their theme makes. This option disables many of the changes that DMT does to the download manager, so that it doesn't interfere as much with user installed themes. Most of the changes are replacement icons in the download list. You won't see the icons change for completed downloads (the original download manager doesn't have icons to change in that case), but paused or canceled downloads will change those icons.

I'm not sure I can do anything about "MD5 Reborned Hasher". It changes the contents of completed downloads in the list and so does DMT. Firefox is going to pick one of the two and in your case DMT lost. Note that only completed downloads are a problem and DMT will display the buttons in other cases like paused and canceled.

The translation job isn't really new for me, since I'm working for a couple of years now as volunteer for Nullsoft, Inc

1. If you could, please asign another string for the caption of the first groupbox in File/Window Panel (see screen capture). This is for semantic reasons in Romanian. For testing, I declared a new entry in downloadmgr.dtd, named filesSavedTo.caption:

2. I have added some code to localize the description. There is a simple way to do this, if you wish. You should create the file downloadmgr.properties in each localization folder with a single line and let the translators to do their job.

I added filesSavedTo.caption as requested to my 0.9.3 (a slow work in progress ) and I changed the English to "Download files to:".

I already have the downloadmgr.properties file in my 0.9.3 (added March 29th). It has both Name and Description.

@squashr1979: please note that many locales are now converted to two-character codes: de-DE has become de, pl-PL has become pl, fr-FR has become fr and nl-NL has become nl. I have removed the duplicate locales, but please check the proper locale codes before your next upload (just include what is in the WTS at the time), and amend the references in your xpi accordingly. We are moving towards Mozilla standards on this, so many locale indications will disappear over time and be superseded by their shorter counterparts .

I'm not sure what does it mean - "Comment so UTF-8 BOM doesn't mess up first property". Would anyone mind writing it in another way, please? If I translate it properly, the Polish (pl) locale will be finished

I just took the liberty of writing a silly line, as it seems to me that this particular string will never make it to the user’s screen (a hint for this might be the string’s name: dummy) .

The dummy string does not have to be translated. For some reason the first property in the properties file doesn't work. I tried putting a comment line first but it has to be a property.

I saw that the locales were changing to two characters and I'm actually happy about that. I was going to ask you to get rid of the extra locales but now I don't have to.

I do have an issue with ja and ja-JP. ja is old and doesn't have a translator. Someone signed up to do ja-JP but didn't follow up. I asked him to take over ja instead of adding ja-JP and he replied "Got it!" and nothing since. I'm not certain what to do. I just sent him another private message and if I don't get a reply soon then I'll ask that ja-JP be deleted.
