Hi, I'm just dealing with the German locale and wondering:
Where is the date info for "dateTimeFormat" in aboutMe.properties derived from?
Cause day and month names stay in English.
Any chance or hint to change this?
Otherwise I'll reduce it to "dateTimeFormat=d.mm.yyyy, HH:mm" for German date format, avoiding the appearance of English names.
Of course it would be nicer to have localized names here, too.

rolleyes.gif eh eh dear ReinekeFux, I had the same problem and made a localization hack for the dateformat.js file and added this file to the locale
http://hg.mozilla.org/l10n-central/de/file...rmat.properties
it will spare us the boring task of writing days and months once again :D

Please test the attached version and tell me if it works for you (you will probably have to adjust the date and time format to your German use)
Attached File(s)
Attached File  aboutMemoreloc1.xpi ( 54.45K ) Number of downloads: 2

I agree. Everything needs to be localised.

Goofy, your contribution is great, but I don't know any programming and though I appreciate your effort, I'd rather see that the extension developer localise everything than me having to patch things together afterwards smile.gif

Of course I have sent a PM to the dev so that she can review my suggestion and possibly update in the future smile.gif

Dear Goofy, what can I say? Works perfectly (as expected wink.gif).

@Margaret
Adding this solution to your extension would be really great.
