Thanks Victory,
On the settings panel it does wrap on line breaks and spaces, but unfortunately there are no spaces in your language and your first sentence is quite long. I made the panel a fixed size so it will wrap, but it is resizable and will remember the size you set it to.

Thank you as well MatrixIsAllOver for the updated locale.

EDIT
Ok I've found a way to set a default size but automatically enlarge it if it's not big enough so by default the Japanese locale should now display. The method still allows the user to override the size and for it to persist.

Cool, actually I've just made a couple of other small changes which has resulted in some new strings to translate, mainly in the properties file but there's one in the dtd file. Do you think you and MatrixIsAllOver could send me those.

Cheers,
Michael

Thanks victory, I'll probably be releasing a minor update soon so will include your locale in then. A very fancy script file you've created for that site, I'm impressed.

Apologies for this, I'm only just discovering WTS and decided to upload a later build with the idea that it would merge changes from the en-US locale, but it seems to have wiped everything you've done. I've just sent an email off asking to see if I can access a backup. Thank goodness there is a backup though.

The other strange thing it's done is that even though I'm using Firefox's recommended encoding for languages the Chinese or Taiwanese languages don't display correctly in the WTS panel. Does anyone know what WTS expects?

zefranc, let me sort the locales out when I get the backup and I will resubmit the extension which should properly display what state each locale is in. But thank you for your translation and urko for his start on es-ES.

Edit
Ok I think I've figured it out now, what I was expecting to happen when I updated the extension only happens when I update the en-US locale. Also I shouldn't put the new en-US strings into the other locales to not cause an error because the system will do it for me when I download and if I do put it in then it thinks it's translated.

This is a normal behaviour

Extract from the "How to update an extension ?" Question
The previous version will be replaced by the updated one, but the locales and the known translators will be archived and available on request to the Admins.

In the future, in case you need to update the extension (or only some locale) you may update 'off-line' the extension then re-upload it wink.gif

smile.gif In case it may be useful to make things clear :
If you have (small or big) changes to make, please just submit again (it will be considered automatically as an update as far as the guid is the same). But please be careful to submit your extension with all the more recent locales you have in hand just now, so that the recent translations will be taken into account, and translators will just have to fill the missing new lines in their own locales.
It is not necessary for you to fill every locale with the new/modified strings in english, because the missing lines for every translators will be set in a visible background color, so it is easier to spot immediately if there is no english (new-modified) sentences in the locales.
(I hope these explanations are clear, I am not sure dry.gif )

OK, I have registered again as translator for this extension an uploaded the es-ES locale, but just in case with the backup recovery we overwrite them again I attached here one zip file with the Spanish locale (I think I used the last English locale).

I would like to test it a little more while the 'restore' issue is solved.
