I have tried these 2 preferences without effects on a left click on a button which then uses the current opened tab.

I have also tried to edit and modify the bzm-event-mz.js file but left click has always the same effect.
But I am not a developer and i think a solution was here.

Note that I work with Tab-Mix-Plus extension with only one window and severals tabs. I have configured TMP to open the bookmarks always in a new tab (if current is not empty) but this personalization has no effect on on the menus of BZM found under the button after a click on it.

The avoidance found is to use Control key with the click.
Using Shift key with the click can give a leak of memory when clicking on BabelZilla Home page button !

It was only example to show that BZM works with bookmarks preferences, not a solution for left click
If you use Firefox, you should modify bzm-event.js and not bzm-event-mz.js (which is for Mozilla Suite/Seamonkey)
I don't use TMP so I've never seen how this extension manages bookmarks. In the same time, even if I've tried to reproduce Gecko 1.7/1.8 source code, it is possible that I've missed something

See attached picture. This is toolbar button with text. I think this text is good for menu item and tooltip, but not for toolbar button. For this button should be very little text, something like 'Translations' with tooltip 'List translations needing update'.

I am not sure I can help, what do you mean by untranslated ones showing ok in the toolbar?
Could you tell if you uploaded files from your computer or translated on the wts then downloaded from the wts ?

I was using BabelZilla, with only one button in the Toolbar for BabelZilla. I have replaced the BabelZilla button by the WTS button but it has no effect.
Note that the BabelZilla bar works well but I don't use it, then I had masked it.

Can you verify if there is a problem with this WTS button ?

Well I have the answer (I am not sure you will like it )
The extra buttons showing in your customized toolbar manager dialog can be dragged and dropped on Babelzilla toolbar only (where they all work fine, including the WTS one). you can add/remove every icon of BZ toolbar but their aim is not working as separate entities on the main toolbar (where they will not work as you noticed).
As usual, because I am not a real developer and unable to create code and because this extension belongs to everyone, feel free to make your own bzmenu extension whatever flavour you wish, mine will remain plain vanilla.

What a shame ! So I re-put the BabelZilla button and remove the WTS one.
In more than 90% of the case, it is the WTS that I use, but for the remainder, it is good to have the BabelZilla button.

I had problem with install this extension in Fx 3.0b2.

When I tried install Fx always shown warning about "unsafe update source(link)" (in Fx 2.0.0.11 I hadn't problems). I had to delete this line <em:updateURL>http://www.babelzilla.org/babelzillamenu/update.rdf</em:updateURL> from install.rdf, after this operation I might finish installation.

Yes, FF 3.0 requires a safe update address. The next version of the WTS will be able to circumvent this problem (at least, it is planned to do so) but for now the solution you have chosen is the correct one.

Hi all, I've just added Czech (cs_CZ) locales. I've tested it with SeaMonkey 1.1.x, so consider the localization released.

Just one note: Whereas there's no Czech Babelzilla forum, I pointed that button to the CZilla (Czech Mozilla) support forum to the Extensions localization section. I've used our dictionary on m.d.c. too. Hope it doesn't matter and looking forward many new Czech translators using BabelZilla!

I tried to install BZ-menu in Fx 3.1 rc1, but Fx didn't allow the install.
I changed the maxVersion line, but it doesn't help.
I know a lot of extensions are refused because v. 3.1 rc1 only accept an update link to a secure server, but there isn't an update link in the install.rdf file.
Is it possible to make BZ-menu compatible with Fx 3.1 rc1?

Yes it is possible but no I will not do it. I feel updating for release candidates is a waste of time. If someone wants to take over this extension development he is welcome, I don't feel like managing it first because I am no coder, so I just cannot improve code myself second because I have no time for it. Maybe I will add some items for the new wts features but that is all.

Yes, I know you aren't a developer, that's why I asked if 'it is possible', not 'please, change it'....
I don't agree with you that 'updating for release candidates is a waste of time'. I waited for the first RC before installing Fx3 and started to test my (translated) extensions, so I can inform the developer about some problems with Fx3 and they maybe could be fixed before the final release of Fx3. That's all.

JFYI: the version of BZ-menu you posted above, doesn't install in Fx3.0 rc1
