I'm very sorry to tell you that the translation is not of the high quality, babelzilla translations should be.
There are too many mistakes, grammars, typos...

The translation is NOT tested, there was NO QA.

We released the last stable version on http://www.erweiterungen.de with a new translation.

I have tried to translate the 1.9.5 version to test it in French :
- adding catalog fr-FR updated for the 1.9.5 version in the JAR file,
- updating the install.js file, with
- updating the install.rdf file, with
and adding the line not in the comments.

But it still works in english !

What have i missed ?

I have put my translation in the WTS, and then with the new 2.0 version uploaded and updated with the French it works right in French

I have compared the files of the 1.9.5 version with this version 2.0.2191 and I don't see nothing major that could let me in english

It is the past, I have put the startus to Released for the French

we have a problem installing the new version.
If I install with Firefox de, I always get the translation from de-CH, I can switch general.useragent.locale to de, de-DE, de-CH, always the same.
Now I find the problem:
in de-CH>contents.rdf there is de-DE, but it should be de-CH.

Can you change this please?

Thanks for the catch. What would be the best way of fixing this? Seems I cannot edit contents.rdf online...

I think it would be usefull that we can change http://en.wikipedia.org/ to e.g. http://de.wikipedia.org/ in the locals.
And it would be great to change the default search engine in the locales too.

Ok - I just uploaded an international version, with all the locales.

There is a possibility that some recent locale updates were lost due to my recent mistake.
Please let me know if you don't have a backup - I'll try talking to Fenian and see if we can recover the latest changes.

One WTS feature request - would it be possible to add a warning when uploading an extension with missing translations, before this deletes existing translations in the system? See details on my mistake above in this thread

Norwegian (nb-NO) translation cleaned up, updated and released. Fantastic extension, thanks!

Some remarks:
"lyrics", "tabs" & "chords" are directly linked to english search, so by translating these strings to other languages the search is done with the translated word. "pictures" and "videos" are not directly linked to english search, so by translating these strings you still get the "correct" search result.

Also, i do not know what "accel" button is, can someone please explain?

I am in doubt for the translation of one string:

foxytunes.infobox.moreinfo.time.label

What is it supposed to display? It seems to me to display how long the "Track info" window is shown.

Am I wrong?

In InfoBox (the window with the album cover) there is an icon on the top bar that opens 'Track info' panel - with more info about the track, when it was played, with what player etc... In that panel "foxytunes.infobox.moreinfo.time.label" is the "time:" label for the 'when the track was played' field, for example:

'time: 4 minutes ago'.

Thanks, but if I close this windows and close the InfoBox, and then I reopen the Infobox and repoen the "Track Info" window, the value

"time: x minutes ago"

does not seem to reflect the passing of time, but instead it seem to be restarted from 0 seconds: in this case, it seems to represent the time of showing of the "Track Info" panel.

I've just made a Danish translation (da-DK) of the FoxyTunes 2.2.1.
I've made it's status "Testing/QA". How do I know when and how to release?

Mmh I see you have forgotten to "translate" the contents.rdf file. As it cannot be edited online, you have to :
1. Download it
2. Open it with your favorite text editor.
3. Replace every en-US with da-DK and save
4 Upload your modified contents.rdf file

It is up to you to decide when you want to switch from "test" to "released". When there is small team, someone else gives a look, proofreads and tests the extension with the locale layout to see if eveything is fine.
Maybe you should ask for some proofreading: just open a new topic on the Danish forum or ask AlleyKat.

There's been some confusion about the latest FoxyTunes international version, and I wanted to explain the current status.

A while back, we uploaded the latest version of FoxyTunes to BabelZilla. Due to a small glitch in the WTS, a duplicate entry of FoxyTunes was created - http://www.babelzilla.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=3288
Once we identified the problem, I asked Fenian (the admin) to freeze the new thread (so there is no further confusion and double translations).

I hope we can soon fix this prob and upload the latest version of FoxyTunes 2.9.5 here.
