I tried to translate this into Finnish, but when I'm testing translation, I get this "warning":

I made everything that is said in that help-topic. Still whining about that "error".

Hi!
Many thanks for everyone for the translations.
I updated a newer version into the babelzilla, becouse there was a line, which didn't included by the translation system.
@AtteL
I don't have any idea what would be the problem. Please try the newly uploaded version.

I see that you have fixed that bug what I announced couple days ago, BUT unfortunately I found another bug.

When I try to go to "Preferences" ("Asetukset" in Finnish), I get this error message:
CODE
<radio label="&GRWpreferences.tooltipcounterposleft;" value="left" selected="true" />
-----^
It don't know what's happening, because I didn't modified the xul files since June 13 and the extension works with the English and Hungarian language files on my system. I tried with several Firefox versions.

Hey! You should post your 5 posts to here:
http://www.babelzilla.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=3210About the bug, I found out that there is no lang-string called "GRWpreferences.tooltipcounterposleft"
BUT there is lang-string called "GRWpreferences.tooltipcounterposright". Would that be the problem?

I think you are right, the *posleft string weren't in the lang file. Now, I corrected, please check.

Hi, i've made a few modifications on the greek locale, i can't set it as released but i've done the testing and it's ready.
I have never used your extension before so i have a few comments:
1)
QUOTE
notifierMSG
You have %S unread feed
I guess you mean "feed
s here. More than that, i think it would be better if the string would be:
QUOTE
You have %S unread entries in feeds
(Since the number displayed is not the number of the feeds but the total number of entries in those feeds)
2) The extension's description is not localized... It should be!
3) I get a protocol error when trying to open the google reader (?) the extension sends "null" instead of "http" or "https".. btw, where's the option for the secure connection? i can't see it
4) I can't see the GRWpreferences.tooltipdesc string either.. i guess that it's a tooltip but i can't make it appear somewhere

Hi,
Thank your suggestions.
Except description localization I've made all changes, so I removed the tooltipsdesc, which is unused, changed the notifierMSG field and I fixed some bug, like the "null protocoll".
Sorry for the lame things.
Thanks again

It is advisable to
test your translation, so that the translation included in the xpi is correct. Some languages have teams to proofread each other's work, so if you want someone else to take a look at it just post a request in the Portuguese forum.
The meaning of the statuses can be found
here. Changing the status of the translation is described
here.
Have fun translating!

Hi everyone.
The Firefox 3 will be released soon, with many new and improved feature. Also I implemented some new features into the Google Reader Watcher, which means that there is some new strings, which are needs to be translated. The English language file is updated also, some old string were changed, so maybe you want to change the translation too.
I want to release the new version of the extension as soon as possible and I want to make it complete as possible, so if you can, please finish the translation until the end of the next week.
Thank you very much your help

This is probably the translator then. Could you send him a PM and ask to re-register? If it does not work or the translator does not reply within a given period, please report

el-GR released again.
Shouldn't the "OK" button (on the settings dialog) shut down the dialog? it didn't worked for me.
Plus, i attach here the localized strings for AMO.
(btw, you have a typo there - "checks" instead of "check")

Hi,
Can you check the error console after you clicked on the OK button. If you find anything which related with the Google Reader Watcher please post it to me.
Thanks

There's neither error reports, nor warnings, i only get the message "GRW : Starting Google Reader Watcher" when Firefox loads and that's it.
Tested on working and brand new profiles on windows XP (SP1) and linux mint daryna (XFCE)
Does it work for everybody else? could some other translator confirm the issue perhaps?

I just started the german translation and I have the same problem. If I install google_reader_watcher-0.0.11-fx.xpi before, it's ok.
An other problem, 12b ist not logging in my Google account, I have to do it on the website.

Yes you can. You have already done it I see, but you need to add the locale line to chrome.manifest in order to properly test it. When the developer includes your work in future versions he will add the line too.

Please upload the localized AMO metadata for the extension to AMO (see previous posts)...plus, I hope the final release will have a localized description!
I noticed something weird while testing.. on a clean install on a new profile, there was a 4-5 digit password already set for the google account..(?)

Hi guys,
I uploaded the next version of the extension which has some new features, I removed and changed some strings from it.
Also I want put localized informations to the next release, so I added two examples (en-US, hu-HU) to the install.rdf. Please translate it too and paste it here and I will add it to the release.
If you think, that the some of the English strings is not so good and you have a suggestion, please tell me.
Thanks

el-GR released again.
I attach here the localized description though i personally believe that the old-fashioned way is far more elegant than including every locale description in the install.rdf

I also attach a screenshot of the google account settings tab of the preferences dialog. I 've mentioned this before in a previous post but i guess you forgot about it. Users with privacy concerns will not appreciate a pre-defined code stuck in a fresh install

Hi,
I'm a little bit confused with that. I checked up this word, and as I see, both of them acceptable (
labelled,
labeled), so I think it's OK. Or "tagged" would be an ultimate solution

. Btw, thanks

Hey,
Thanks, I added it and your localized description too.
I've fixed the bug with the password, the five character was
false.

I just uploaded another update for the new release, because unfortunately I forgot to add a JavaScript string to the .properties file. It's name is 'shareditems'. That will be shown next to the counter when you have shared feeds from your friends.
Thanks for everyone's help

Yes. Basically I rewrote the extension, it has to be better, faster etc. and the translation in some languages is not full, maybe this time the translators receive a notification from the system and they will finish them.

I doubt they will be notified, i didn't got a notification either, just noticed it in the home page.
I know that WTS now has a function that permits developers to send a message with instructions for the localizers along with a new version but unfortunately i can't provide more info on that.
I'll ask some admin to give you some more information on how to use that.
