Now translators will do their job, you will be automatically notified by mail when a translator registers and when his locales are flagged on "released".

Just a bit of information for you: in case you have some queries about the WTS, you can find short and simple Questions&Answers about it here.

In case you're looking for a specific translator, please see the list of available translators on BabelZilla.
When you select the desired one, you can send him/her a P.M. or an e-mail (if and when public).

You may also insert a new Topic in the Help Section, in order to ask for specific translations, to write a general request about missing translations, etc.

Hey Goofy,

thanks for the warm welcome. smile.gif

A french translator already contributed to my extension. A great project you have running here on babelzilla, thats for sure.

I'll help translating other's extensions, and so did I already. smile.gif

Hi, Alphawolf, sorry to bother you, but Russian locale seems to be completely blank, although I do remember I have already translated it. Could you fix this, please?

Hey TLemur, obviously the WTS resetted the translation status when I updated the extension, which didn't have russian localization already. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Brazilian Portuguese pt-BR locale translation updated and released.

Suggestion: let empty the new untranslated strings on wts... it is not productive stay searching the strings in the files...

Turkish locale (tr-TR) is released.

There exist a "tr" locale which is a misconfiguration and it has to be deleted.

Well, actually, tr is the correct locale indication, following Mozilla standard locales: http://l10n.mozilla.org/webdashboard/. We are slowly moving towards that standard, one locale at a time (depending on locale community preference).

I didn't know that. It is not obvious in babelzilla that authors should first check this list before taking on the locale. Especially for tr vs. tr-TR. This has to be announced to /every/ tr-TR author. Otherwise every one of us would simple intend to choose tr-TR.

Why do you think a simple import of tr-TR to tr is not a good idea? All is there. OK, it is dangeous to do it automaticly. But authors of tr-TR (or any other locales which require this transformation) could be contacted and informed about this situation.

Anyway. Now; how could I move tr-TR locale content to already existing but /not/ translated tr locale (At the moment tr contains only English wordings; no translations at all). Since I cannot join to tr, I am stuck with the current locale. What should I do now?

I will do that for you. If you change your locale (Translator for:) to tr in your profile, you will see tr specifics from that moment on.
Let us know if you want other locales converted as well (via PM or otherwise), we will then convert those too.

Hi,

translated and released for Czech. happy.gif

But I face a problem with this extension - on the page "Manage my translations" the WordPress Helper Czech translation seems to be incomplete (see screenshot 01), but when I go to its page, it IS translated (see screenshot 02). Any ideas how to fix the My translations list?

Thanks!

That’s just our string counter playing tricks on you. Please ignore it, it will probably be OK after the next update of the extension.

After the latest WTS crash, tr-TR vs tr problem appeared. Somebody else (TheNorth) has the translation of "tr", whereas I could only save the "tr-TR". I have already completed the whole translation. Could you please manage this tr-TR vs tr problem once and for all?

All conversions have to be done manually, as the database restore involved reloading of locales from the existing xpis (which contained tr-TR in many cases). Provided there is no new crash between now and the next upload and the next upload does not contain tr-TR, the problem should not resurface. I have transferred you to tr and removed the tr-TR locale; please find the work done on tr-TR attached (just in case you did not keep a local copy).

OK. Thanks a lot.

I reworked on the combined strings; I have corrected a few typos and corrected several phrases. Now, it is re-released smile.gif
