Russian locale has been released on WTS.

P.S. I have paid attention that for some reason there was not translated an inscription "Local folders" in a pane of sort accounts. Though it is named in Russian Thunderbird "Локальные папки".

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for your quick replies and contributions ! It's great to already have so much translated smile.gif.

I had not spotted the "Local Folders" bug, it's easily fixable, and it's not l10n related, so I'll bake in a fix for the next release.

As to the Add-On title and description, I've uploaded version 0.4.2, the only change being that the install.rdf structure now includes <em:localized> sections. Is that enough for you to be able to translate the add-on description or should I post it here too so that you can reply in the topic ?

After uploading the new version, now WTS displays a "this extension does not exist" message... and I cannot access the panel anymore. Do you guys know if this is a known bug ?

jonathan
PiVV
I not the big expert on interiors WTS. However the problem seems to me consists that add-on does not have now name. At least in "My translations" it is displayed so - without the name.
mozjonathan
Hi,

While updating the install.rdf file with a <em:localized> section, I failed to upload the extension with your translations included, which resulted in them being deleted from the WTS. This is the first time I'm using this system so I *really* apologize and I hope you had a backup... I honestly feel very bad about your work being lost, and I'll make sure this never happens again. I misunderstood some kind of message like "WTS has kept previous translations", plus with "Requested extension does not exist" message...

Apart from that, I followed the instructions the enable localized description, so everything should be fine.

Sorry again for screwing up.

Anything, for me one backup copy after translation testing just was overlooked.

Russian locale has been updated and released on WTS.

Ok, I'm glad you had a backup. I even managed to issue a new release with the "Local Folders" string I had forgotten to localize (you were right, it WAS a l10n issue), without screwing things up.

I modified the install.rdf with the metadata you provided. You even managed to spell my name right in Cyrillic, that's great ! The Russian description will be in the next release.

Thanks,

jonathan

mozjonathan
Hi,

Thanks for the Russian description, I've uploaded it to AMO. I also added the Japanese translation to the WTS but as I've already released 0.4.4 (sorry, missed your post !), the Japanese translation will make it for the next release. This is great however, since the statistics show me that I have a few hundreds of Japanese users.

sub, can you make sure you register on the WTS for your locale ? That will make it easier for me to track changes and updates smile.gif.

Thanks to everyone !

Polish locale is released. Please don't include my translation in to extension under "Testing QA" stage. I'm perfectionist, so want give Polish users fully tested locale. smile.gif
Now I have some remarks about your extension. No, without remarks – try my version. smile.gif Please pay attention that I'm XUL Warrior & Layout Fakir.
In the included file are also texts for AMO.
In the my extension version are localized data.

My bad !
mozjonathan
Hi,

I've decided to do a new release, as I can't seem to find good reasons to add new features. The only new feature is the ability to choose the startup folder. Seems to work pretty well for me, I hope it does too for others smile.gif.

Attention: I uploaded by mistake a file called "ui.dtd.orig". There is nothing to translate in here, just ignore it, it will be removed when I do the final upload.

Regards,

jonathan

Thanks to everyone! Edgar, could you please translate the description and add your name as the translator ? For some reason this seems to be impossible to do using the WTS. See http://www.babelzilla.org/forum/index.php?...ost&p=53163

Hey,

Thanks for all your contributions. I've integrated these new descriptions into my install.rdf.

markh: I'll wait for you to release your translation, and then I'll release the new version.

Do you guys know if it's necessary to include the <em:creator> in each of the <em:localized> sections?

Hi Jonathan,

I know you have to use every name, description, creator, homepageURL, developer, translator and contributor (if you use one of them) in each localized section.
