When I tried to create the new account(s) the first time, I added the "@gmail.com"
I tried again 2 minutes ago without adding it (as suggested), and it worked fine !

I noticed also another thing: If I update the extension, but in the previous version I had inserted the "@gmail.com" I have to remove it [renaming the account(s)] before updating, otherwise the extension 'doesn't see' the existing accounts

Please Teo, may you confirm this ?

That's definitely a relief that it is working now. Thanks for the reply back about that.

Yeah the "@gmail.com" may have been creating problems checking mail for you in past versions as well (not sure if you were having issues with that). I guess it would be nice for the extension to let the user know why exactly the account was not added.

Also, you may be seeing some not correct background color under the Preferences... this will be resolved before the public release as well.

Exactly, it was the same
In the previous version 0.2.2 I had added "@gmail.com", and the extension worked fine
So, I didn't imagine that I had to remove it before updating or in case of new installation
LOL, the mystery has been solved !

I agree !
It could be useful also creating a sort of "Note" or "FAQ (?)" on your site, or addind a tooltip Warning! Don't add "@gmail.com" in the user name field.; or both in order to avoid many many support request(s) !!!

Please look our translations before reupdate our files, it's boring to retranslate 36000 times the same things

no offense meant, just mentionning it is very useful and time-saving when you upload for an update to include all the already existing locales you have in hands - I don't know if it is the problem here, just informing in case...]

The only reason I don't have the "@gmail.com" is because to the left of the input box it says "Username:" and not "Email:". I will allow for the extension to accept both methods this way I don't have to add in the "@gmail.com" and can do all the work in the background.

No, in this notification is all OK. In the popup with message:
'You have 1 new message' (polish: 'Masz 1 nową wiadomość') all polish characters aren't displayed.

The .properties contains two %S for 'You have 1 new message' so that it can use 'message' and 'messages' appropriately. Looked like it may have only contained one %S perhaps. Let me know if you notice anything else.

I wrote you many times. In this notification is bug! I have two %S. Not only message and messages (polish - wiadomość and wiadomości) are wrong. Also 'new' (polish - nową) is wrong. Colorued polish character are bad displayed. This is something wrong with encoding.

The issue has been resolved as the characters were being encoded an additional time which was causing the problem in the notification popup. I will have the next release uploaded either tonite or tomorrow for your testing purposes =) Thanks in advance!

Yeah it doesn't use the current time, it pulls whatever time the message was received in your Gmail account (just parses the Gmail page for the time).

Good call, looks like google makes everything lower-case for the account which the extension has never taken into account. I will make the appropriate changes for that case =) Nice find.

Changelog for 0.4
- No longer required to "Sign Out" of Gmail to check accounts
- Checking your accounts will no longer affect your Google homepage/reader
- Switching between accounts, while in Gmail, will not sign you out
- Middle clicking the icon will open Gmail in new unfocused tab always
- New mail alert notification popup encoding resolved
- Show snippets only appears if the feature is available for OS

I find new bug... When GMail manager connect with server and I personally open GMail in browser Gmail say that I disable cookies, but it false. When Gmanager login Gmail opens ok...

Hey all, I updated the extension to 0.4.2 that will resolve a couple of problems (including a few cookie issues some people were having). Also, shouldn't conflict with HTML validator any longer.

There are couple translations that need updated (below are new strings):

gmanager.properties
accounts-login = Please enter your password to login

gmanager.dtd
prefs-homepage.label = Extension Homepage...

Here is a quick rundown of the changes in 0.4.3

- Added mailto: link detection and right-click compose menu
- Toolbar icon now uses Firefox's customize toolbar method
- HTML stripped properly for new mail snippets
- Unread mail and icon appear in popup menu with themes
- Option to automatically switch to account with new mail
- Unread count is hidden when unchecked in preferences
- Option to hide icon from appearing in the statusbar
- Locales added: tr-TR, zh-TW

Two sections were added to the Preferences, "Compose" and "Help", which has some new strings. I had to move over a lot of the translations because of variable name changes so please let me know if I messed up any of the previous translations. Thanks for all your help.

Also, I added a "Thanks to" section in the Preferences so please let me know if you would like me to include your name (nickname is fine) and website there? Thanks for all of your help with the translations.
