In case you're looking for some specific translator, please see the list of the available translators on BabelZilla
Selected that desired one, you may send him a P.M. or an e-mail (if and when public)
You may also insert a new Topic in the Help Section, in order to ask for specific translations, to write a general request about missing translations, etc!

In case you have some curiosities about the WTS, you may find here short and simple Questions&Answers about it

There isn't a previous Italian localization, so an invitation for an Italian localizer will be posted! biggrin.gif

Mmm... but I have a 'request' for you: please may you add the localized description to your extension?
Many thanks in advance

There seems to be a problem with strings in foxmarks.properties that contain the newline character (represented as "\n") changing to "n". The "\n" is included in the string as an "end of paragraph" indicator to control the display of text in alert boxes. Translators, please be sure that the "\n" remains.

Thanks!

-Todd

Has corrected min-width: 15em;! It was silly for my part to translate. smile.gif

There is still a question:
Items
FTP CWD failure, FTP PWD error, FTP LIST error, DNS Unknown host...

If I correctly understand CWD - Change Working Directory, PWD - password, List-?, DNS has not found out host?
Help, that I could translate these items correctly
Thanks

Those are error messages that can be generated when users set up their own FTP server for use with Foxmarks. CWD means: failed trying to access specified working directory. PWD means (I think): password error. DNS not found means that the servername was not found.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for your work on this.

I want to include the localization description (I promised to do it last time), but I can't find a good authoritative source of instructions. Can someone point me to a step-by-step procedure?

Hi Todd,

the previous link is changed!
Try this new tutorial (IMHO an easy step-by-step).

I hope this helps. smile.gif

Thanks! I've just uploaded Foxmarks 0.86, which finally contains the localized description, as well as a few additional strings to translate.

Translators: please send any questions you might have to me at todd@foxmarks.com. Thanks in advance for your help!

Location: chrome://foxmarks/content/foxmarks-dialog.xulLine Number 76, Column 9: <checkbox id="synconshutdown"

Celikbas,

This is normal -- the extension is missing the Turkish translations for some new strings; that is what this error is about. If you want to see what the extension looks like (or does) before you localize, you'd have to run the English version.

Does anyone else have a better suggestion for how to handle this?

-Todd
