Is there a special interface or process at babelzilla.org to translate the extension description as shown at addons.mozilla.org, or should i just post the english version here and translators send me their version ?
I think it's important to have this text in various locales as otherwise non-english speaking firefoxers don't even know that the extension exists even if available in their langage.

Not yet, but the next version of the WTS will. For now you will have to collect the various text blocks individually (I'm saying various since the description is not the only localizable field on AMO). A PM to the translators with the required texts is probably the fastest way to proceed wink.gif

Thanks.

A good feature for the next version of babelzilla would be to have the capability to receive an email when a new post is done on some monitored topics. I did not notice this thread has now 2 pages and i just discover your answers smile.gif

I am going to post the amo text here, as i would like to give credits to translators at the bottom of this text and it would be unfair that a translator who did not work on the extension get the credits for simply translating this description.

[Description]
DownloadHelper is a tool for web content extraction. Its purpose is to capture video and image files from many sites.

Just surf the Web as you are used to, when DownloadHelper detects it can do something for you, the icon gets animated and a menu allows you to download files by simply clicking an item

For instance, if you go to a YouTube page, you'll be able to download the video directly on your file system. It also works with MySpace, Google videos, DailyMotion, Porkolt, iFilm, DreamHost and others.

When you are on a page containing links to images or movies, you can download some or all of them at once. Moving the mouse over the items in the menu will highlights the links directly in the page to make sure they are the ones you want to pick up.

DownloadHelper also allows you to download files one by one, so that you keep bandwidth to surf for other stuff to download.

To modify your preferences, like changing the download directory, right-click on the icon and choose "Preferences".

When you first install the extension, your browser is redirected to a welcome page with links to a user manual at http://www.downloadh....net/manual.php and a faq at http://www.downloadhelper.net/faq.php

This does not change your homepage setting and the welcome page won't appear anymore.

Support can be obtained from http://www.downloadh...net/support.php

XXX translation by YYY (ZZZ) from babelzilla.org
[/Description]

Replace XXX with chinese, german, spanish..., YYY with your name or nickname, ZZZ by your domain name if you want to or simply remove (ZZZ)

By the way, i just submitted version 2.3 to AMO. We now just have to wait for the world to see our work smile.gif

Many thanks to all,
/mig

The Dutch about.xul is truncated as well by the WTS, so please use the attached version wink.gif

Please use the about.xul in my previous post, as it is crippled by the WTS!
