The new version includes one new option string:
"Automatically search for login data and highlight form fields"
@translators: this string is present in English in your locales, so do not think too soon that your translation is complete. wink.gif

I think I should keep the new strings blank next time. mellow.gif

Edit:
Blank strings still add up to 100% in the progress list so I had to remove untranslated strings completely from the locales.
This is a bit of a hassle, as this throws entitiy errors when testing with unfinished locales.

This is hopefully the last pre-release version.

The major change since the previous pre-release is the new help page, which is now integrated into Firefox help system using a so-called Help Content pack.

Changes made in the English locale:

New String:
CODE
<!ENTITY helpemptysearch.label "No matching items found.">

This is the same string that appears when you search in Firefox help and nothing is found.

Apart from that, I removed the unnecessary words "Secure Login" from some of the locale strings:
CODE
<!ENTITY menuoptions.label "Settings...">
<!ENTITY shortcuttext.label "Keyboard shortcut:">
<!ENTITY hidestatusbaricon.label "Hide statusbar icon">
<!ENTITY hidetoolsmenu.label "Hide entry in Tools menu">
<!ENTITY help.label "Help...">

I also removed the space in front of the triple dots ("...").

Thanks again to all translator for your work. smile.gif

Hi madblueimp,

I have put the French is Released status. tongue.gif

Nice looking for the Help now. It is the first time that I see a Help like that for an extension. rolleyes.gif

You should add a "OK" button in bottom of the Settings window with the Cancel and Help buttons. cool.gif

Regards wink.gif

Thanks.

I saw that DownThemAll! had this integrated help - and just had to implement it for Secure Login. wink.gif

Sorry for the missing "OK" button - I've put it in now after finding the reason why I missed it:
In instant-apply conditions (MacOS X, GNOME, XFCE), when a sub dialog is confirmed (e.g. a checkbox being checked), its preferences are written.
So you don't need an "OK" button and even if you put it in together with the cancel button, only a button labeled "Close" is shown.
In non-instant-apply conditions (Windows) when a sub dialog is confirmed (e.g. a checkbox being checked), changes made in it are saved in the calling window's preferences set and are saved when the calling window is confirmed (by click on the "OK" button).
As I'm developing on Xubuntu Linux (which uses XFCE) I didn't recognize the missing button, as it wouldn't show up anyway.

I think I should test on Windows more often - fortunately, I just found out that I can share my test profile between my Linux system and the virtual Windows running inside a virtual machine using Samba (CIFS).

If someone is interested in how to do it (this should work as well the other way round):

Sharing a Mozilla Firefox development profile between Linux and Windows via LAN:

On the Linux system, set a symbolic link to the development profile in your shared folder
("public" is a folder accessible via CIFS protocol using a Samba server):
CODE
$ ln -s data/development/workspace/Mozilla_Extensions/secureLogin/ public/

On the Windows system, create a file with the extension name (e.g. secureLogin@blueimp.net)
in the Firefox profile extensions folder, put the network path inside and save it:
CODE
\\192.168.148.1\public\secureLogin

Thanks - I updated your name in the translators list.

If someone else prefers his/her real name instead of the Babelzilla username, please let me know. smile.gif

I suppose that you have not yet uploaded a corrected version on BabelZilla. I have made a download but the file is the same than this morning.

Does the problem that I spoke in MozillaZine forum can be linked to this problem ? unsure.gif
EDIT : if others users of Secure Login can verify if they encounters (or not) the problem documented HERE on MozillaZine on this entry (and others before and after) blink.gif

Best Regards wink.gif

No, I didn't upload a new version on Babelzilla - don't want to reset the released locales status.
But I added the button on my local development version and tested it on Windows as well this time.
Perhaps Easter bunny should buy me a mac mini so I can do test runs on Max OS X too. wink.gif

No, the settings page buttons don't have anything to do with the problem we discussed on forums.mozillazine.org.
I'm sorry, so far I couldn't reproduce the error. :|

The new version uploaded contains these new features:

- Improved settings page (using tabs, better structuring)
- Login fields ouline style and line width configurable using about:config
- Added menu icons
- Restructured and extended help page
- Autofill Forms integration (new option on the settings page)

The biggest part had been the restructured help page.
This means some work for you translators.

You will find your old translations strings in the archive file - some of them might help you in working through the new ones.

Thanks in advance for your work. smile.gif

Japanese Locale(ja-JP) Updated.

I was asked to do some part of translation via PM from Norah,
but I can't reply PM because of 'You haven't sent 5 post in forum!' error...
So translation took several weeks. Anyway it's done.

Thanks.

P.S:I left him comment instead the PM but I guess he doesn't check comments for himself like others?

Hello, I picked up the italian localization from gonzalopirobutirro who couldn't go further.

Sorry for being so late, I'm afraid I have a few excuses for this blush.gif

The italian localization is finally ready in the WTS.
