Oh, I also want people to make contents.rdf for the seamonkey version of the extension. Like this one.

No need to be a genius translator for this job

Yeah, I know, but if each translator does it for his locale, then when I get the big .tar.gz file I don't have to check which new translations are missing their contents.rdf

Hello (again) biggrin.gif

Just two little matters:

1) The description is also localizable: you can follow this great tutorial by Goofy.

2) I think there could be more room in the interface for the right buttons (I include an image)

Could you make enlarge dinamically according to the text lenght (I'm not a developer so I dunno, sorry... ops.gif)

Thanks in advance

Premier:
Please register with babelzilla and use their interface rather than posting a zip on this forum. That way I can get all the updated locales in a .tar.gz babelzilla generates for me.

As for the buttons, I hope my latest checkin takes care of the problem (i.e. I've made the buttons flex horizontally).

… and that's ok too for the (last ?! mellow.gif) one.

Don't forget that is should be better to change the version nuber each time there's a difference! I saw you kept v. 0.1.5.

Ah, but I don't change the version number unless I actually make a release. Pre-release code (which is what I'm uploading) changes without version number changes...

I understand, but there's a problem with that: the translation I've done disappears each time ther's an update (2546 to 2547, 2547 to 2548, 2548 to 2549…), even if it was in the Released status; so I need to upload the latest tar.gz I catched laugh.gif Perhaps fr-FR is the only one language with this "error"?

(for example, currently the 2549 is done)

You're right! I forgot to add fr-FR to the jar.mn ... let's do another update.

You can ask but I doubt whether it will happen. Premier has his own reasons not to do it through the WTS interface, primarily because of the ja-JP that is not used, but ja is. I'm still not sure that I can follow this reasoning, but given experiences in the past you will get the locale. Just not through the WTS. It's up to you how to handle this wink.gif

About collecting locales in a single tar.gz file: please read this Q&A carefully, as that may prevent future mayhem...

I cannot register with WTS.
Even if the OK button is clicked, I am not registered.
I do not understand the cause.

Thank you for following me. smile.gif
If WTS supports ja and ja-JP-mac, I am glad.

Can someone please explain to me why some people use ja/ and others use ja-JP/ ? Are these interchangable? Which name should I use for my Japanese locale dir, and why? Or maybe both?

See here

Our WTS cannot support "ja", but WTC can (beware WTC development is arrested). So Victory is uneasy/upset with that. Probably you can just rename his ja-JP in "jp" ?
