smile.gif Would you please correct some little f***ing encoding ranting2.gif issues as displayed on french page on AMO. Maybe just copy/paste my corrected accents (?). TIA smile.gif

Japanese locale has released on WTS.

I've noticed that the menu item's checkmark (Options > Return receipt) doesn't sync with the button.

Thank you!

Hi,

I've looked at the German translation. Well, not so great I'd say. In my opinion, the following translation would be better:

Empfangsbestätigung
Empfang der Nachricht bestätigen

because current translator was last seen on BabelZilla 27th February 2010, I open German translation, so you can register as translator and make appropriate corrections and translate new strings.

German locale (de) updated and released.

AMO:

Summary:
Fügt der Symbolleiste des Nachrichten verfassen Fensters eine Empfangsbestätigung Schaltfläche hinzu.

Long description:
Nach der Installation der Erweiterung, wird die Empfangsbestätigung Schaltfläche auf der Symbolleiste des Nachrichten verfassen Fensters angezeigt.
Nun kann sehr schnell und einfach, durch einen Klick auf diese Schaltfläche, eine Empfangsbestätigung für die verfasste Nachricht angefordert werden.

As new strings have been added, it should be useful to be able to download the XPI for testing the translated files to verify the accuracy of localization.

@Bigpapa
You can download extension and new language files from WTS, unpack .xpi package (this is zip file), change over your language old files and pack to .xpi package. Thats all. Now you can test new version in you language.

Tips and tricks in this forum thread: How to test your locale once translated, started by Goofy (who also answers questions in French).

Remember:
  • XPI files are really just renamed ZIP files (XPI is a phononym of "zippie"), so unpack the XPI file by first renaming it from filename.xpi to filename.zip and then unpack it with your unpacking program.
  • Open Source archive handlers include 7zip and PeaZip. Both are very good programs and actively developed.
  • When repacking the XPI, first pack the files and the folders (not the folder you unpacked them to) into a ZIP archive, and then rename it from filename.zip to filename.xpi.
