Hello folks, this submission is for Songbird langpack, as an alternative to http://translate.songbirdnest.com/
The French translators wish to be able to "freeze" a good French version.

Tu peux en dire plus Goofy (je ne suis pas encore utilisateur de Songbird) ?
Il y a un problème de qualité sur la traduction faite sur le site du logiciel (il est vrai que la qualité Babelzilla est généralement excellente : à quand un label) ?

We cannot say that Songbird French translation up to now is of low quality! We have been a lot to contribute to it.
The problem is: when translating here http://translate.songbirdnest.com/ we have no control for review of the final xpi, because as you know registration and translation are open without control, so it may happen, and it happened too many times, that a good translation was spoiled by beginners/unexperienced contributors that ignore things like glossary consistency or accesskey problems and so on, resulting in having an "official" French langpack with flaws, typos and the rest.
With this translation on BabelZilla, we hope to re-gain control (only one main tranlator can register other additional ones or an admin) for serious review and test, then distribute a correct langpack.xpi to satisfy the user smile.gif

J'ai aussi soumis la traduction allemande pour la même raison. J'espère que ce n'est pas faux...
