Locale pt-BR updated and relased! rockon.gif
I think I noticed the problem: the input "browser.download.flashCount.finite.label" is duplicated. There are two of them. hmm.gif

About update channels options:
In my opinion, I found the place where the erroneous option is, simply because of the danger that this may cause. The Nightly (Alpha) and Aurora (Pre-beta) and Beta/RC channels are exclusively for tests because they are unstable and can be lethal to user security. My suggestion is to create a tab just for this option to warn the curious about the security and stability to those versions since two channels channels (ESR and Rlelease) are for stable releases.

BTW, I have received a issue report that app.update.channel doesn't work.

This pref does not affect on the Firefox's update feature!?

This option changes the Firefox update channels. I searched on Google and found this blog that says that Mozilla has disabled this option and don't understand why MozillaZine's page does not speak about disabling the option. Now just tested this and it didn't work.

Thank you for your reply, I would like to remove this pref on the next release.

I saw this site (in portuguese) interesting settings with the middle mouse button. Do not know if the entries were added in the Configuration Mania, but if not, I suggest you add them:
01) "middlemouse.paste": same function Ctrl + V.
02) “middlemouse.scrollbarPosition”: Centers the contents of the page to click on the scroll bar (need to restart Firefox to take effect).
===
Still speaking on suggestions, Configuration Mania is in need of some "particularities" and I sugreir them:
01) A search bar: when I installed for the first time, this had the bar that helped me and other users find that option we forgot where is; thumbsup.gif
02) Option to import/export settings: you are right that has extensions like FEBE that does this, but the user has to have a great knowledge to know how and where to paste the one pref.js file. It will be great to save a backup and easily restore your settings to a file (.xml for example); angel1.gif
03) Keyboard shortcut: it would be nice to open the Configuration Mania with a simple Ctrl + M. biggrin.gif

What do you think of the idea, Popoki?

"UI"->"Unix (X-Window) style mouse behavior"->"Paste when clicked middle mouse button" and
"Allow middle mouse button to adjust scroll bar (takes effect after restart)".

I removed a search bar at at Jun 2010 since it was buggy.
I think that it is helpful. However, the coding is so difficult. So, search bar have been still removed.

I wonder that using pref.js is much more simple.
For details, see https://bitbucket.or...import-settings .

Got mail:
Hello gymka,
cat_in_136, the developer/maintainer of "Configuration Mania" has updated the extension and requests you to check/add your localization.

Best regards,
The BabelZilla Team

came to babelzilla and i see one string which is not translatable, so what changed? i need keep all translation files of each extension and check differences between them? there is changelog? in other translation platforms, if string is changed it's marked as "fuzzy" so everybody knows which string is changed...

Oh, sorry. I have added just only "with ENTER key" to browser.tabs.seachOpenintab.label. (For details, see Mozilla-bugzilla 513180 & issue81)
CODE
-<!ENTITY browser.tabs.seachOpenintab.label "Open the results in a new tab when searching from search bar">
+<!ENTITY browser.tabs.seachOpenintab.label "Open the results in a new tab when searching from search bar with ENTER key">

How can i search for the entry in the Babelzilla-TranslationsSystem?

At this site

"Web Translation System
Configuration Mania
German [de]
locale/en-US/confmania/preferences.dtd"

the only "Search" thingy is for searching translations of words but no search function for words to find translateable fields like
for example:

"prefWindow.title
Configuration Mania"

There are now 10 pages with fields - do i have to read through all them to find
"browser.tabs.seachOpenintab.label", because Babelzilla shows nothing when clicking on [Unmodified] or [Untranslated].

At which of the 10 pages is the new entry?

-----------

And this field:
browser.bookmarkicon.siteicons.label
Show bookmark icons on the tab & location bar

should be changed to :
Show bookmark icons on the tab & (up to FF 13)location bar

Why CMD+C and CTRL+C ( equal function for CTRL+C under Windows ) opens "Configuration Mania" under Mac OS.

This is the standard Text copying function under all Operating Systems.

For translators...

In the latest upload (Aug 4), browser.bookmarkicon.siteicons.label (which would be shown at page#3 on the WTS) has been changed by issue#96.
 • Before: <!ENTITY browser.bookmarkicon.siteicons.label "Show bookmark icons on the tab & location bar">
 • After: <!ENTITY browser.bookmarkicon.siteicons.label "Show bookmark icons on the tab (and (up-to Firefox 13) location bar)">

(I have said at post #112) In past upload (July 15), browser.bookmarkicon.siteicons.label (which would be shown at page#2 on the WTS) has been changed by issue#86.
 • Before: <!ENTITY browser.tabs.seachOpenintab.label "Open the results in a new tab when searching from search bar">
 • After: <!ENTITY browser.tabs.seachOpenintab.label "Open the results in a new tab when searching from search bar with ENTER key">

By the way...

I think so, too. I have posted this issue to http://www.babelzill...amp;#entry63173

Two new entries (please check if they exist in Configuration Mania)

01) plugins.click_to_play: The plugins are disabled, but the user must manually activate (Firefox 14+);
02) browser.preferences.InContent: Open the options window in a tab, just like Google Chrome (Firefox 15+).

Thanx! thank_you.gif
