Good evening everyone,

First, thank you for all translators who responded - your help is really appreciated.

Second, please review the new version; it features the updated set of strings for some important functions.

And in the 3rd place. The first time I've uploaded the extension, I didn't include the properties file with add-on description (because Firefox 4 doesn't use it any more - it has another localization method for add-on descriptions). This time the properties file is in place; please review it too.

Please ask if something in strings is unclear.

Thank you for your help,
Dmitriy.

smile.gif Sorry but when testing my translation I found some issues that are probably not only related to localization

my config Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:2.0b9pre) Gecko/20101217 Firefox/4.0b9pre

1. Extension installs normally, Preferences and about windows are shown without prob BUT I have no "addon bar" visible whatsoever, so I can see no barlesque icon anywhere unfortunately. I have checked carefully the "addon bar" option in the Show menu but still nothing.
I have no Noscript extension btx (since I readthere was an incomptaibility)

2. As you can see on the screenshot, strings are shown miserably in the preferences dialog, there is not enough space for French strings (typically longer than English original), and there is also some part probably missing (?)

1. Are there any errors in error console?

2. Can you please give a list (or send me to pm) of extensions that you have installed?

Yes, other translator has PMed me too about this - I'll fix it tomorrow.

Thank you for this bug report.

BTW, Barlesque doesn't have any icon - it just shrinks the add-on bar. Do you mean that you don't see it at all?

smile.gif I just tried again with a new profile

Here is a screenshot of all I can see (highlighted checked addonbar option)
Attached File  addonBarInvisible.png   157.72KB   10 downloads
and a copy of all info (in French but you will understand easily)

Attached File  infoPage.pdf   33.75KB   5 downloads

- Nothing in the error console except one message related to the default theme
Could not read chrome manifest file '/home/famille/firefox/extensions/{972ce4c6-7e08-4474-a285-3208198ce6fd}/chrome.manifest'.

The extension includes small arrow images (?) in the skin, but I cannot see them in the interface.

Hmm. Thank you for letting me know; I'm on Windows machine, and extension works ok. I'll try to test it on Ubuntu in a few days.

Yes - these are for collapse/expand icon, if shown.

Quick P.S. @Goofy: can you please try to install any add-on with the icon (NoScript, Adblock) - will the add-on bar show up?

The add-on bar is not shown because, apparently, there are no icons to show smile.gif

smile.gif I confirm it is much better now for the Options rockon.gif

... but I still cannot see what I am supposed to see (I still have no idea where there should be anything visible :S Could you attach here a screenshot showing exactly where the "addonbar" is, I suspect it is just not implemented on Linux versions yet)

It should be visible in all versions of Firefox, but only if you have icons for it:

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/16283445/screenshot-3.jpg

You can try the following with the latest version:

1. start the browser,
2. View menu -> Toolbars -> Customize...
3. you'll see the wide grey add-on bar at the bottom of the screen,
4. drag-n-drop some icons from toolbar palette in to it,
5. click "Done" button of the toolbar palette.

- after this you'll be able to see the Barlesque's effect on the add-on bar.

Hope it helps smile.gif

mmmh thanks, I can see the (void) grey silly addonbar but only if barlesque is not installed (so I can suppose by default barlesque hides the addonbar?). As soon as it is installed, no addonbar appears, no extension icon visible (though I have a couple of them installed). I played with the preferences in vain to have something more. As non of the littme icons that are visible on your screenshot is visible for me, I still suspect Linux firefox versions miss this feature.

No; extension uses the "View -> Toolbars -> Add-on bar" preference to determine if the add-onbar is on or not.

I guess I'll have to look at the problem myself; thank you for giving me a heads up.

smile.gif as a side note, you changed one entity name in your pre-release build
barlesque.options.timerfull
is now
barlesque.options.timer.tooltip

If translators are not notified (or submission updated on the wts), they will hit a "missing entity" issue on testing rolleyes.gif

Uh, yes. Should I just update the addon on WTS? Or anything else is needed?
