dwdev,

What do "h" and "v" stand for in the following part of the Print Edit language file?

CODE
(Rows 60-63)

<!ENTITY printedit.margin.h "Margin h:">
<!ENTITY printedit.margin.v "Margin v:">
<!ENTITY printedit.padding.h "Padding h:">

I have interpreted that as ‘horizontal’ and ‘vertical’, but that’s just me wink.gif

Well, that beats my interpretations ("heffalump" and "vitiligo") … wink.gif

The 'h' and 'v' stand for horizontal and vertical.

Hi,
Very useful add-on!

Romanian locale [ro] has been updated.

DW-dev,

It might be a good idea to add tooltips for menu items in PrinEdit window, as shown in the two images below.
Attached File  HideExcept.png   38.61KB   6 downloads Attached File  DeleteExcept2.png   43.36KB   6 downloads
More information about the menu actions might be very valuable to users.

You should add some new entries in printedit.dtd (the .tooltip entries):
CODE
...
<!ENTITY printedit.delete.ak            "D">
<!ENTITY printedit.hideexcept           "Hide Except">
<!ENTITY printedit.hideexcept.tooltip   "Hides all elements except those currently selected">
<!ENTITY printedit.hideexcept.ak        "i">
<!ENTITY printedit.deleteexcept         "Delete Except">
<!ENTITY printedit.deleteexcept.tooltip "Deletes all elements except those currently selected">
<!ENTITY printedit.deleteexcept.ak      "e">
<!ENTITY printedit.restricted           "Restricted">
<!ENTITY printedit.restricted.tooltip   "Retains position and size restrictions from higher level elements">
<!ENTITY printedit.withoutfloat         "Without Float">
<!ENTITY printedit.withoutfloat.tooltip "Retains position and size restrictions but removes float from higher level elements">
<!ENTITY printedit.unrestricted         "Unrestricted">
<!ENTITY printedit.unrestricted.tooltip "Removes position and size restrictions and removes float from higher level elements">
<!ENTITY printedit.format               "Format">
...

and the corresponding attributes in printedit-browser-overlay.xul (the tooltiptext attributes):
CODE
...
<toolbarbutton id="printedit-hideexcept" label="&printedit.hideexcept;" class="printedit-tbbutton" accesskey="&printedit.hideexcept.ak;" tooltiptext="&printedit.hideexcept.tooltip;" image=.../>
<toolbarbutton id="printedit-deleteexcept" type="menu" label="&printedit.deleteexcept;" class="printedit-tbbutton" accesskey="&printedit.deleteexcept.ak;" tooltiptext="&printedit.deleteexcept.tooltip;" ...>
    <menupopup>
        <menuitem class="menuitem-iconic" label="&printedit.restricted;" tooltiptext="&printedit.restricted.tooltip;" image=.../>
        <menuitem class="menuitem-iconic" label="&printedit.withoutfloat;" tooltiptext="&printedit.withoutfloat.tooltip;" image=.../>
        <menuitem class="menuitem-iconic" label="&printedit.unrestricted;" tooltiptext="&printedit.unrestricted.tooltip;" image=.../>
    </menupopup>
</toolbarbutton>
...

So, the information from the add-on description would be shown in PrinEdit window.

Thanks!
-Cătălin

Hello dwdev.

I can't figure out how the "Text Pieces" functionnality should be used.
In the addon official page I read this:
QUOTE
Text Pieces - allows selection and editing of individual pieces of text.
But I can't edit the selected text. Am I misunderstanding something?

Thanks in advance
