Haha, actually I AM pretty old school when it comes to do things online. :laugh:

It feels safer and an editor is usually smother than a bowser script or application.

Aaand just to support this my view, I found that all my changes in amo.dtd were lost - had translated all but the very last field. Did it again and found it won't save (if I open the page in a new window, all will be untranslated). So I downloaded the file and edited it using notepad++, this time making sure it was encoded as UTF-8. I hope it works!

Then I translated BZ_localized.txt, but I cannot upload it. I am getting a message that this file was unknown, hence will be ignored.

Anyway, all important strings should be translated now!

I am going to install the new PRE and see if I find some awkward translation.

I have encountered that problem before, and I also lost a whole page of translation...

You may have to click the "Save" button several times to ensure the green "Saved" message comes out. Otherwise the save command is not actually called. :sad:

When you have done, please change the status to "Released" then I'll receive a notification about that.

Thanks. ^_^

By the way, in German there are to forms to directly address people, like it is in French, too. While on the internet (e.g., in forums), with a few exceptions it is totally common to always use the informal way even when addressing total strangers, in real life, in books, and in software help files, usually the formal way is used.

The informal address is usually reserved for relatives, friends, and more or less well known acquaintances. Also, some New Economy startups tend to generally use the informal way to prove how cool they are, but this is not received well by many people.

Anyway, I used the formal way.

Also, as requested, I sticked to existing Firefox terminology. But, honestly, sometimes this is very correct language but is probably widely perceived as overblown. Like, most people I know would rather say "thumbnails" than "Vorschaubilder" or "Miniaturgrafiken", as they would say "Bild" instead of "Grafik". Because some people might even wonder what "Miniaturgrafiken" would be, in the amo.dtd I wrote "Miniaturgrafiken (Thumbnails)".

Last but not least, I literally translated "pick & save images" to German. This German translation is totally ok, but it is not a very catchy name. Nothing more catchy I could suggest came to my mind, though. But I do think that this is one occasion where it would be much better to translate "images" with "Bilder" than with "Grafiken", because I can hardly imagine people looking for an extension typing "grafiken speichern" into the search field.

OK, now that I know of that green message, all is easy! :-D

I am done with quality check and changed the status to released. Made some minor changes due to me now knowing where the words appear and what they mean exactly, also eliminated a typo.

Now that I finally used your extension and went into every corner, let me say that this is very nice work! The functionality and the UI are really great!

There is one thing I did not get though: In the save dialogue I can set filter options. At first I thought it wouldn't work until I saw the "hide others" checkbox and checked it. Works fine! :biggrin:

But I do not know what the Filter button does then?

Thanks for your great job.

Well, there is also another user reported that the Filter button "doesn't" work.

That button is to affect the selection but not visibility. It seems "Filter" is misleading some people, and I'm going to change it to "Select" now. :blink:

I thoroughly revised all the files and tested the whole thing. This is now a high-quality translation.
I tried to edit the description but apparently "A part of install.rdf" got corrupted (I guess the online editor can't manage it properly). Could you please check the file? The about:addons basic description should now be like this: Lista as imagens na página, permite que você as escolha e salve.

About the english text, I recommend these changes

:::overlay.properties:::

Use profile matches the current page to save images
Use a profile that matches the current page to save images

Use other profile to save images
Use another profile to save images

:::savingJob.dtd:::

Order of image within the page of it
Order of image within its page

Count of images to be saved within the page of them
Count of images to be saved within their pages

Secound
Second

A long folder name may be cut off to reserve the specified number of characters for the name of which the files inside the folder.

:::savingJob.properties:::

You can expand the "Settings" group to tune the miscellaneous settings of saving.
You can expand the "Settings" group to adjust miscellaneous save settings.

Let me know if I missed anything.
